"Package their own meat cuts, freshly cut deli meat, cheeses and spices, good prices, great on the go sandwiches and meals, the day i visited they offered free apple cider which was the most delicious ive ever tasted, fantastic little grocery and worth stopping in for a quick togo eats, and alot more convenient than going to walmart or dg, dont like giving my money to big corps anyway! Support this small business!"

"Small town America is alive & well in downtown Calhoun! Big Oak is a basic oasis for all your grocery needs. The menu of sandwiches & pizza is perfection. I had the ham sandwich with an Ale8 which was first rate! The staff is friendly and more than willing to help in anyway. I always make time to come to Big Oak… to get a little something… even if I don’t need it! :-)"

"Well stocked with canned food, deli meats and salad, frozen dinners and entrees, fresh vegetables and fruit. My go to place for bananas. Delighted to find a few sugar free items, always a boon for diabetics. There is a good selection of fresh meat, milk and cheese. The prices are a bit on the high side, but not when you consider how far you would have to travel to get what is right here at home! So happy to have the selections offered and I will go back!"
