Reviews of Kroger
"I hate this location. The majority of the employees here are either rude or don't even acknowledge you. One in particular is a girl named Hope I believe. She talks down to people or is condescending, shes done it to me before which has almost caused me to just leave my groceries and walk out. I live in the subdivision across the street from this location. I no longer shop here. I drive out of my way to go to publix or Walmart. There's a few, very few good employees here but not enough to continue to earn my business. They could clearly care less if you shop there, so I don't. On avg. 250.00 a week on groceries, 52 weeks a year, you do the math on what you lost Kroger. And I'm sure others will follow suit now that another choice is in town."
"Me and my wife was shopping today at Kroger's in J-Town Kentucky there was a woman with her dog big dog her dog was very aggressive very big and we are animal lovers too but there is no place for an animal in a grocery store I shop there my wife shop there we spend a lot of money at Kroger's there's other people that is in this community that shop said that does not want to see a dog inside of a store now when that was brought to the managers attention they did not do nothing they asked us to leave we spend our money there just like everybody else does we should not have to walk into a store and worry about an animal being all over the food that we purchase and once again we are animal"
"I only got here if there's no other alternative. They never have fried chicken when I go to get some, and can't be bothered to put any out, even though they'll be open for 5 more hours. They do have plenty of 6hr-old baked chicken that nobody wants, though. The doughnuts look like they were iced by Ray Charles, and they're never in the correct tray so it's a mystery as to what you're actually buying. The self-check out machines are touchy and temperamental, telling me to put my purchases back on the bag carousel (Hello? Trying to make room to bag more purchases!) I have to wait until the machine is done with it's temper tantrum before I can scan another item. I will wait extra days for my mail order pharmacy to send out my prescriptions just to avoid the joke that is the Kroger pharmacy. I cannot wait until Publix builds more stores."
"I just wanted to share an experience I had at the Tyler center Kroger. I was there today 7/12/23 and when leaving around 4pm I hear hollering when walking out the store into the area where carts are stored. Once I get to the lobby, I start to notice that it was two employees one of them in one of those red vests, and the other was pushing carts. The one pushing carts was a very short haired older lady, who I saw myself on the way in, working VERY HARD getting carts in. The manager/lady (long brown and gray hair pulled back into a ponytail with jeans on) in the red vest was screaming at her in the lobby of Kroger, telling her how bad of a job she’s doing and how she left another employee behind because she wasn’t fast enough. She had her finger up pointing at her and everything! The way she was speaking to her was very degrading and down right mean. I couldn’t believe what I was hearing. If I didn’t have my baby with me I would have handled it myself in that moment, I just honestly couldn’t believe what I was hearing and it was very upsetting not only as a customer, but as a decent human being. DO BETTER!"
"Kroger in Jtown deserves 5 stars! Their store is well-organized, clean, and stocked with a wide variety of fresh produce and groceries. The staff is friendly and helpful, making shopping a breeze. Love their prices and excellent customer service! Highly recommend!"
