"If only there was a no star option. My inlaws have been going to this restaurant for years and turned me and my wife onto it but they moved and we had not been to it since Lisa retired. The food was great under the old management. Now that Lisa retired this place has gone down hill. If only I had read the reviews before we went. The lo mein is horrid. The chicken in the rice is dry. Canned soft drinks? Who does that? The "chef" brought out the food and when I asked which lo mein it was, since me and my wife ordered different ones, he had no idea and had to go ask. The egg rolls...mushy inside and taste like chicken pot pie. While we were there, mind you we are the only people in this place at 630 pm, a guy came in and picked up his order and then a woman came in to get hers however they apparently gave her order to the guy before her. The only upside was the staff was nice, even though there was communication issues because of the lack of English but its a Chinese restaurant so..."

"update: 2019. no longer 5 stars!.. they have new owners and we gave them 3 tries because of our love for the place... but we won't ever go back, and that's super sad. The food is entirely different.... who wants sweet and sour gravy instead of sauce? the place is dead... We have been eating here since 1991 regularly. They have great food and it is always hot and fresh, we have never had anything that wasn't good. Fast and friendly service. The best egg rolls and fried rice. Although it hasn't changed much, it has always remained a clean place to eat."

"TERRIBLE!!!!! DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY!! First time going under new owner's all the food we ordered went into the garbage!!!! The rice was fried to rice crisp hot braised chicken was like it was cooked in motor oil. Our family has been going there for years was one of the best in Louisville!! Lisa was amazing and after she left it was still great!!!!! Now I wouldn't recommend it at all !!!"

"I just miss the 2 Ladies that ran the front of house. Lisa was amazing and had a great memory. The new owners have changed what was so great about going there. The food was not even close to what it used to be. The fried rice was clumpy and flavorless. I didnt finish my meal and threw most of it away. No one wants to sit down to a can coke for a 7 dollar plate of clumpy rice. I've been eating there for 10 plus years and today will my last time going. Ford and Upsers be warned it's not the same place at all."

"Always a nice meal, not the fanciest establishment, but a great place for lunch during the work day. Seems like a nice family run business! Go there a couple of times and she will remember your order - like no one I've ever seen. Typically enjoy the General Tso's (no onion, extra sauce). I've had the orange chicken and it's good as well."
