"There were 5 of us and 4 different checks. While the price and food items on all checks were accurate, when scanned into the register, two were wrong. I got the ticket for the couple and it rang up $32 when my ticket reflected $15.32, which was correct. I was the last to pay and the couple had left. The cashier really expected me to pay the $32 instead of what I owed - $15.32. I kindly and firmly told her that I was not paying $32. Not sure why she thought asked or expected me to do that. IF I ever go back, I will ask the waitress to make sure MY ticket, printed and scanned, matches."
"Wow what a big change for the better! Usually service is fair and door is slow especially on a Sunday morning. But our server Serenity was great very fast food was prompt. Wife’s eggs were done correctly and didn’t have to use a napkin to soak up excess grease on them. My omelette was very good would definitely order it again. Coffee was great so were the refills."
"Got the Classic breakfast, with scrambled eggs, sausage links, biscuits, and coffee. Server was really good and professional. However, the food, not so good. The scrambled eggs were more like an empty omelet. Not scrambled and fluffy, but flat and greasy. So greasy, I could only eat a couple of bites. The sausage links were Luke warm. Not at all appetizing. Biscuits were good, as was the coffee. Used to love Bob Evans, but the last couple of times I have eaten here, I have been disappointed. Probably my last trip in here. Food quality has really went down. Manager did remove the food from the bill, and I paid for coffee."
"Let me preface this review by telling everyone that I have been to Bob Evans restaurants all over the east, this is the single worst one I’ve ever been to. I’ve always considered a treat to be able to eat at a bob Evans restaurant for the first time, so this is what happened on this visit. I was first sat at a table where I could distinctly smell urine, when the waitress came back I asked her if she could smell urine, and she said she could, she moved us to another table, and we ordered, the food came. It wasn’t particularly hot, very skimpy portions , the food was not cooked very well, and the biscuits were hard and cold. When I told her about it, she said she liked them that way, I really wanted to say something but I didn’t. She said she would deduct something off the bill, but then came back with some biscuits that were reasonable, she didn’t bring any for my wife, even though hers were as hard as hockey, pucks and cold. Also, the gravy that was on the biscuits with some thing like I’ve never had before, and it was terrible and extremely salty. It was really no apology for any of the issues, granted they were not her fault, but she turned around and sat somebody at the table that has a smell of urine without ever cleaning the booth. It was a horrible experience for the price of that food."
