"We have eaten here twice both times the food was excellent. It's becoming a favorite diner around Louisville a hidden gem. Meat is better than what ya get at any waffle House or chain place. The eggs are cooked well. The pancakes are the best pancakes I had at any restaurant. I do like their biscuits and gravy. The staff is quick and pretty attentive. This has small town vibes in a populated area. It's the perfect spot for some quick grub."

"Popular restaurant!! Seats for about 80-100. Food and service were excellent. Was absolutely worth the drive from St Mathew’s area!! Next time, breakfast for sure. Truly what I would call a diner!! Back again. The chili and cheese omelette was excellent. I had a repeat of their battered in house and fried is so much better than most restaurants. Service is excellent. I upgraded to the biscuits & gravy!!!! Crowded, but very friendly"

"My entire family very highly recommends Christie's Cafe. The Country Fried Burger is INCREDIBLE. I was hesitant at first... If it doesn't meet my expectations I'll be so disappointed... Nope, I'm going for it. It was absolutely everything I hoped it could be, maybe more, and I was so glad I got one. It was overloaded with damn good gravy I was able to sop up with my fries. This burger is seriously good! Lettuce, tomato, onion, and pickle to boot. I also got a fried mushroom appetizer that was excellent. I started to get a second order of the mushrooms they disappeared so fast, but then my gigantic burger arrived and I knew I'd be just fine. The wife got the patty melt, which was so good she didn't share. The kids threw down on a quesadilla, hot dog, and fries. Everyone helped with the mushrooms. Everyone left full and happy. We loved everything about Christie's Cafe. If we lived nearby we would eat here regularly. This week's adventure took us here and it was well worth the drive."
