"Our experience with Renee was anything but pleasant. We were asked our budget for prom dresses multiple times and the last time Renee pretty much said good luck with that and that I might want to consider girls that are reselling their dresses. For a place that doesn’t even keep the dresses in plastic to prevent them from getting damaged I’d have to say good luck in finding one that’s not snagged. We even pointed out that ones they were giving my daughter to try on were snagged and the young girl said the corset would fix it. Then my daughter really liked one of the dresses but it was too big around the bust so it clearly either needed to be smaller or altered. Renee pinched the back of the dress and said “she doesn’t even have two inches to work with here”. I saw the look on my daughter’s face and knew she was about to melt. Needless to say this is one small business that we will never support. So we left and went to Geno’s in Lexington on Southland Drive where my daughter was treated like a princess and we bought the most stunning gown for $275 less than those shown to us at The Prom Room. Money wasn’t the object but your customer service certainly was so I really hope other girls are not made to feel so horrible and you do better."

"I am so thankful I found Renee! I feel so fortunate that I live just a 30-minute drive away from her shop. Renee designs and creates her own line of wedding dresses (that are all SO beautiful – her dresses have been featured in the People magazine!), so I knew I was in good hands when I found her, but she still managed to exceed all of my expectations! She was always so helpful and supportive in figuring out what would be the best thing to do for me and my dress, and the resulting alterations of my dress were flawless. She was also open to trying different, creative things that I had “seen on Instagram.” The bustle she did for me was a new method for her and she made it so perfectly. She made my dream dress come to life. And to add to that, she made a second dream dress of mine come true! I had a second, reception dress in my head, but hadn’t been able to find anything available to purchase that was close enough to that vision. So she offered to make me a custom dress! She worked with me to completely understand my vision (looking at so many pictures I sent her, going through each one to discuss what I liked and didn’t like) while making expert suggestions, she carefully selected beautiful fabric, and then actually created the dress! It was SO perfect! It was everything I had wanted, and it was also so comfortable! I had an absolute blast dancing in both of my dresses made perfect by Renee on my wedding day, and felt so beautiful in them! PLUS, Renee is seriously one of the sweetest human beings I have ever met. She really makes you feel like you are the most important person when she is listening and talking to you. She was also an angel when my mom came with me to an alterations appointment, being so patient as my mom did all of her mom-assessments while Renee tried to work. If you live remotely close to Mt. Sterling, KY and need anything altered OR created, please go to Renee! You will be so thankful you did! (I'll add more photos of my dresses once I have them)"

"I said yes to Renee’s dress and got to wear it today for my special day. I didn’t want a traditional white wedding dress and Renee brought out a beautiful purple wedding dress that was exactly what I was looking for and it was me! I can’t thank Mrs. Renee enough for the beautiful dress and the time and care she put in making it my perfect dress! I highly recommend seeing her for your special occasion needs! It’s hard to find someone who cares and listens to what you are looking for and making it happen! That is truly the experience you get with Renee!"

"From the minute Renee came to Mt. Sterling I knew I had to buy my wedding dress from her. When I got engaged I sent Renee some inspiration photos of dresses I thought I liked and one that I had taken a picture of in her window downtown years ago. When I walked into the bridal shop it was magic from the beginning - from the atmosphere, sitting down and telling Renee my vision of my wedding, the story of how we met, and about the people I brought with me to shop - it was amazing. I tried a few dresses and felt like a princess in each of them. Renee pulled another dress and suggested I try it too after I was pretty set on dress 1. Little did I realize until I had it on it was the dress from the picture all those years ago. This was my perfect dress and what a wonderful bridal moment it was. My dress completed my wedding in so many ways being sentimental to me and that would not have been possible without Renee. I couldn’t recommend her and her dresses enough. They are truly magical."
