"Great burger, fries, and shake. Patties are small so order a double. The fries were fresh and hot, and the shake was perfect. Service was very fast. Price was very good but it is cash only. I will be back anytime I'm in the area."

"The fries were great. The burger was okay. I'd rate the chicken sandwich a little better than the burger. All worth eating again if I'm on that side of town and want an inexpensive, but still relatively good meal. Fed lunch to three for about $16, but we did all get water. Burgers Shakes has been around for decades. It's a no frills, affordable burger joint that will fill your stomach for almost half the price of other fast food establishments. And it's pretty fast. I understand their shakes are quite good although I haven't had one myself. Other friends and family members have enjoyed them."

"This place was like a visit to my childhood, it tasted like the old McDonalds but better. Very cheap too! And with prices rising this place was very refreshing. Be sure to bring enough cash as they’re cash only, a $20 would probably feed 3-4 people depending on what you get."

"The food was really good. Everything must be cooked to order because the food was piping hot. The burgers do come dressed so be aware of that. They are cash only which makes sense because the cost is dirt cheap. While the food was great the service could have been friendlier. Also, almost all the tables were dirty."

"This place is a Lexington tradition that dates back long before my time. I can remember coming here with my grandfather as a tiny kid. It’s so simple and delicious at the same time. Flame grilled burgers, fries, and milkshakes at very reasonable prices. Just make sure that you bring cash, because that’s all that they accept for payment. I definitely recommend giving them a try if you’re in the area."
