"We ordered: Castle Gin & Tonic & An Old Fashioned for drinks. Both were great. Muscles and Fried Green Tomatoes for appetizers. The 14Oz Ribeye and Sea Scallops for the main course one with the dinner salad and one with a Caesar Salad. The appetizers were good. The Muscles had a delicious broth that was great for dipping the bread in. We really enjoyed that. The Caesar salad was different. It had peppercinis in it. The Ribeye was cooked perfectly and had great flavor and seasoning. The Scallops were good, but the risotto that came with them was the best I've ever tasted! I think it was the best part of the meal. Overall the experience was timley, comfortable, and satisfying. I would recommend giving this place a try. And if you like risotto, you will love it here!"

"I was very glad I stopped in. This little gem is in downtown Midway and does not disappoint. The menu has a wide variety of appetizers, salads, entrees, desserts and cocktails. "Highly recommend the steakhouse burger! This was our first time visiting Midway. We were hungry and since there was an empty parking spot in front of Gibson's we went in. We'd never heard of it and walked in completely unbiased. Hostess was very friendly. We got a table right away. Our server was just as friendly and attentive. We both ordered the steakhouse burger and WOW. This burger is $12 on the menu (with a crazy amount of waffle fries) and could easily be $16-18 in a larger city and be WORTH EVERY PENNY. It's hand patted and cooked to order. The brioche bun was fresh and had a delightful G branded on top. It was absolutely fantastic! Now I know that I'm going to have to drive from Louisville when I'm craving a burger because I haven't had one in this town that even comes close to the Gibson's steakhouse burger. Best burger I've had in a long long time, and a great value too!"

"Was excited to try Gibson’s in Midway Ky. Ordered the steak tips with horseradish mashed potatoes and a salad. Salad was good and we enjoyed the mashed potatoes although we were skittish of the horseradish. The steak tips however were well done and we had orders medium and medium rare. When we informed our waitress of the “overdone tips” she looked and agreed with us but said the kitchen would not take them back. ??!!! I personally will not be a patron if Gibson’s again."

"Sooo we tried this place because my boyfriend seen it being advertised on TV, and he felt like the food looked really good. We decided to go try it....I wasn't impressed at all. The staff was very nice and accommodating. I feel this place is completely over priced. The food isn't even mediocre. The atmosphere is Great, which seems like that's what your paying for more than anything. I guess its that small town dine out feeling. However, the food isn't what I thought it was going to be. We won't be returning. Definitely will try something else in the area. The best thing was the bread and butter that was brought to the table. I was really surprised about the utensils, they need to be replaced immediately."
