"I've eaten here a few times and really liked it but the bread on my Italian sub was awful today. I hope it was just a one-off as that definitely was not focaccia. It seemed like a defrosted hoagie or something. ADDENDUM: After my previous bad experience, I decided to give them another shot. I had the same sandwich and it was excellent today. The bread this time was ciabatta and everything tasted fantastic. Will definitely be going back."

"Decided to try this cafe while visiting Lexington. Chicken salad was quite good, but the Henry Clay sandwich was incredible. Homemade chips and the potato salad were also a good step above what you usually get elsewhere. They did give me the wrong sandwich at first and I didn't notice until I had left. That's partially on me and they corrected it quickly when I returned and gave me a few brownies to compensate for the mistake. Will definitely return in the future and will take care to check my order before leaving from now on."
