"This shop said they had my vehicle fixed and I paid them. My vehicle quit running less than a block from their shop. Later, I found that the fuel pump job that was claimed to be completed was poorly executed and replaced with the old sending unit(bent to restriction). When I ask the shop for an explanation of what was found by another shop, The shop owner was very defensive, used profanity towards me, and threatened to call the cops if I returned to their property. I paid close to $900 for work to be completed. This shop is not Accredited by BBB. D+ rating. Lesson learned! Update to the response: There was no offer to replace or send me another brand new part. The messages sent were an hour and a half conversation due to the delayed reply from the owner. I appreciate that your response was respectful when publicly viewed but that was not the case when I ask about the situation. I have the proof in the messages. If the public searches your shop name through BBB, they will find a complaint June 2023 that describes almost the exact same scenario EXCEPT they paid more money and that customer could not get in touch with anyone. The trend is evident and open to the public and for any locals that really want the proof of how Clark's Automotive Repair Services treats their customers when caught in dishonest act, you are more than welcome to contact me. "I took my car to Clark's for repair on 3 different occasions. He was upfront, honest, and repaired my car quickly and with efficiency. I also took it for detailing and an oil change. Adding to this review because I cannot figure out how to make a new one. I had to have an engine put in and it was done right. I trust this shop totally. Their son also detailed my car. My car had sat for a year. It was in bad shape. He made it look BRAND NEW. And I mean BRAND NEW. It was unbelievable how clean he got my car. One of the windows had been left cracked, a bird had crapped in it. He removed the seats. Carpets and interior looks impeccable."
