"I brought in a KitchenAid mixer that I've had for about 25 years a few weeks ago and I needed to have the drip/beauty ring replaced after a DIY cleaning and rebuild (there's a trick to it, I don't know it and Camelot does -- fair enough). They charged a fair price for the repair but also tested the mixer and discovered that the mixer was no longer getting up to top speed (I knew this was going on, but the mixer still worked, so I had let it slide). Since they had it in the shop already, I approved the additional repair (and the original service charge was applied against this repair). Again, a fair price charged and my mixer is running like new. I waited a couple of weeks to review because I knew I was going to be running the mixer hard and wanted to make sure everything was still in good order. It works great!! I HIGHLY recommend Camelot for the level of service, the timeliness of the return, the availability of genuine replacement parts and the reasonable pricing."

"Took a blow dryer for repair. Gave them the required nonrefundable $35 fee for them to look at it. I thought that I'd keep something out of landfill and support a small, local company. They phoned later that day stating they could repair it for an additional $10....so either pay a total of $45 or lose the first $35. I reluctantly agreed. Got it back the next day, and it immediately made a different sound than usual on high speed...louder & a bit weird. Used it about 6 times and then both speeds made the sound and produced little blowing. Took it by and was told this was a separate problem and not anywhere near where he had worked. Of course not. So be careful, folks!"
