"I bought boots for my daughter. The leather of one of them was wrinkled. The store where I bought it admitted the mistake but did not change it and did not take it back."

"Will never be coming back to this Steve Madden again. I received a pair of boots as a birthday present from my parents. They sadly did not fit although they were beautiful. When I came to return, the employee #602028 (Terrrel) kept scanning the shoes to see if they had been worn, the sole was brand new, there were no creases and even had the inside stuffed. She asked me if I had worn them and I said no and then proceeded to tell me that she thought I had worn them and because of that she was only able to give me store credit. At this point I was really frustrated but decided to search around to see if I could find something my size and that I liked. After trying about 4 other pairs of boots, none of them fit right so I expressed how unfair it was that my parents couldn’t receive their money back. No employee was helpful nor did they try to remedy the situation. Now I have to go to other Steve Maddens to see what I like."

"I Had a Horrible experience with an online order. I called customer service several times to no avail. I was charged $30 for overnight shipping. The shoes arrived 5 days later and I was disappointed as it was a birthday gift. Customer service did not resolve the issue as it was from India and they didn't speak the language. I stopped by to ask a couple of questions. The store manager came out of nowhere to the rescue! He was amazing, resolved the problem at the store level. I will definitely shop at this location again. Thank you corporate office for hiring him!"

"Every worker in the store was amazing. However, there was an employee in tiny shorts, and a see-through mesh body suit. I understand everyone wanting to express themselves through fashion. However this is still a store. If he was another shopper I wouldn’t care. But in this context it felt very unprofessional and inappropriate."

"Two women asked if I needed any help as soon as walking into the store, but when I asked about women's oxford shoes they gawked, didn't know what I was talking about, and said that they don't make oxford shoes for women but offered me men's sizes instead. I thought it was pretty odd that shoe store employees didn't know about these shoes. That aside, this store was neatly kept and employees correctly wore masks."
