"Came here after leaving JD's in Town East Mall. This location is even worse. The female's attuides are horrible. I finally found a shoe here. Went to the register to check out. It was about 4 female's at the front counter. Only one was helping a customer. The other 3 girls looked at me and turned off to do other things as if they didn't see me. Then out of no where another female worker said are you ready to check out? I turned around she Talking to a lady that wasn't even in line. She see me to tho. I'll never shop at a JD ever agin . This place so rude and the workers are rude and nasty as well. Horrible experience!"
"The people who are supposed to be there to help you in the store what they do is treat customers badly, and added to that they charge a higher price than the product label indicates. Yesterday I was in the store and one of the boys who served me did it in a very bad way and the other two girls who were at the checkout laughed mockingly at the bad treatment I received from the young man who served me."
"Before reviewing, I read through the rest of the reviews to make sure I didn’t catch them on an off day, but my experience was poor at best. Looks like whoever is responding to these is not resolving anything. Was offered assistance after standing around for a bit in front of the shoes we were interested in. NOTHING warm about the interaction. After 10 minutes was told they don’t have the size we asked for so I requested the next size up.. No offer to size my child, by the way, sat there for 20 more minutes while one person collected all the shoes for everyone in the store, most of the other employees were standing around, someone was even washing the very tall mirror while watching multiple people wait for service for long periods of time. When we finally got the shoes, I was handed one shoe and the box with the other was placed behind the counter, I asked for the other shoe, he took the original from me and I had to ask for that one back..finally got that. Decided to purchase but really did not want to give them my business. Started to walk to counter with shoes when the employee took the box and put it behind the counter, I asked what to do and was told “ line is over there”. Just poor, apathetic, I hate my job attitude. I realize why I rarely shop in store any more."
"Nobody greeted me or asked me if I needed assistance. In the time I waited for help, asked two people for help, then waited to get the shoe I came in just to buy without trying on, I found it cheaper online. They never came out with the shoe. They probably need to staff up a bit more. I would have rather bought it in person, but they are competing with the ease of online shopping. If the customer service isn't there, there is not reason to wait. I was in the store for 30 mins."
"I went to jd on 9-5-2023 to purchase a bucket hat. Before I went to counter I put the hat on to make sure it fit which it did. Once I got to the counter the lady couldn’t for some reason remove the security tag. She never attempted to actually remove the tag but pretended to and offer me the hat from the display on the mannequin. Lol I asked her if it was the same size but I wasn’t enthused about that hat just because it’s been sitting out. She said it was the same size but she never showed me visually if they were in fact the same size. She was acting weird to say the least. My hat was the only item I saw that the store had issues removing the security tag. I purchased the hat and when I got to the parking garage I put the hat on and it was too big. So the woman lied because she wants to decide who she deems worthy of buying items from that store. Just ridiculous I returned the item to a grouchy masculine female who was rude. What ever race issues that are brought to work from an employee is a reflection of the company. Please eradicate these problems or give them some training. I deal with consumers and everyone should be treated fair. One of the worst customer service experiences. I was there around 5:15pm or so if you want to look at the video"
