"What a cute speakeasy! Tucked inside a Chinese restaurant, this unsuspecting bar is such a treat to discover. On top of that, the drinks were exciting and delicious! I had the matcha gin drink which blended so much more perfectly than I could have imagined. Also tried the salty kitty; a little too sweet for me but love the contrast and creativity of the salty foam and sweet drink underneath. Bartenders are knowledgeable, helpful and playfully sassy. Great convo and insight on the menu. Don't tell anyone about this place so we can keep it to ourselves! We'll be back soon for dumplings!!"
"We arrived and it took a minute for the bartender to get the door (they should make it so the door opens up by it self instead of having the busy bartender open the door each time people arrive) we sat down, looked at the menu and the bartender let us know to order at the bar. They bring the drinks and food to your table. The cocktails are great, the food not so much IMO. The dumplings are the only food items that are salvageable. The prices are average."
"…pretty disappointing experience. Hidden speakeasy inside Wokker. When we ring the bell - nobody opened the door - we had to wait until some customer left and opened the door. The interior and atmosphere is pretty “trippy”. The lights and the music let you feel a bit like on mushrooms. Fun but also very simple…this is not an upscale place at all. The worst thing about this bar are the drinks. The Yule old fashioned had a very weird taste and it was so bad that I couldn’t even finish half of it. Also the Meo Gin Tonic had strange aftertaste and was overall not a tasty gin tonic at all. I also cannot recommend kimchi dumplings - the kimchi is not a real kimchi. It was more like some poorly marinated cabbage. The dumpling filling not flavorful."
"The vibe is immaculate. The whole theme of the speakeasy was definitely unique, and who doesn’t love a good Asian inspired themed bar? My friends and I had more than a great time, but we weren’t complete sold on the drinks despite how aesthetic they looked. Brenda’s Violet Hour was a fan favorite for us (the pink drink with purple, circular ice cube)."
"Loveeee the vibes here and the food is good too. My favorite is the spicy rice rolls and their Lychee martini is a fave of mine. It can get busy on the weekends but during the week is pretty chill with good music in the background."
