"I quit after my manager Chris told me to flirt with a group of men so they would tip while training to be a bartender (I was a door girl). Keep in mind he gave that entire group free drinks. I did exactly what he said, and little did I know I didn’t get tips at the end of the night when training. He knew I wasn’t aware of that, so he basically had me flirt with them for tips, just so he went home with more money at the end of the night. It was about 5 men. When I went to privately talk to him about it, he blew up on me to the point where I was crying nonstop in the bathroom. I work in tech and worked here on weekends as a way to not only meet new people, but because I wanted to learn to bartend on weekends. I quit and now have 3 checks from thirstys that I tried to cash today and none of them could be cashed. If I can’t get it resolved I’ll definitely be taking legal action. Alden is amazing but Chris definitely should not be the manager. Not only do I have to contact them to reissue my checks, but it’s a very unhealthy environment to work in since all employees are allowed free shots all night. If the owner isn’t losing money I’d be very surprised. Not only did Chris run off an amazing employee, but someone who truly cared about thirstys until he ruined that. Now I just want to money I worked for. I decided to cash my three checks from them tonight and couldn’t cash any of them. Very heartbroken by the entire situation."

"This place has one of the best vibes on 6th street! If you go here look for Destiny, she is so friendly and helpful when trying to decide what to drink! Will definitely be coming back here!"

"Coming from someone who loves thirstys and has been going there for 2 years straight faithfully, the new DJ is the worst dj on 6th. She was playing Billie eillish sad songs on a Friday night, then we came back tonight on a Saturday (Halloween weekend at that) and it’s was so bad that thirstys was basically empty. If you can make thirstys empty af during Halloween weekend, that shows how bad she sucks. What a waste of a Halloween weekend. Please get a new dj. She had everyone leaving thirstys, it was so bad we were booing her and we’re forced to go somewhere else"

"Bars aren't my scene, but I liked the vibes here. The atmosphere was great, and the bartenders were efficient, professional, friendly, and approachable. The place didn't feel cramped, and it helps that the bouncer was counting the number of people entering and exiting. For photos, videos, or highlight reels, there's a huge wine glass they serve a frozen drink in. The drink tasted alright. The looks and experience of sharing the drink was fun though as long as one is okay with drinking from the same cup as others."
