"I'm sure this will be deleted because the male bartender (grey hair) we spoke with was an unreasonable, rude person but I'm writing it anyway. I interacted with the female bartender with dark short hair tonight and asked for a glass of red wine. Which she gave me. I nursed the glass all night and when we went to pay we were charged for the whole bottle (which was already open when she poured me a regulation sized glass). When I asked the male bartender if we were mistakenly charged for the whole thing he said it only comes by the bottle. At no point were we told it was only by the bottle plus it wasn't even full to begin with! To be completely honest she did place the bottle in front of our area after she poured it but I have had people do that before to show what you are drinking and since it was already open beforehand I didn’t really think about it too much. I also didn’t accuse anyone of doing it on purpose, I merely pointed out that the bottle was halfway full which doesn’t happen from pouring one glass. Anyway, I tried to explain to him nicely at first and he lost it. Basically cut me off and said "BYE" loudly and multiple times in a row. I admit I lost my temper at this point which I regret because stooping to his level accomplished nothing and only gives him fuel to make it sound like I was a hysterical jerk from the get go. If we wanted to skip the bill altogether we would have protested the three beers my boyfriend got as well. But we didn't. This interaction made no sense to me and he was the rudest person I've ever encountered in customer service. I am honestly so confused about what happened tonight. Also, we had already paid our full bill when I asked if we got charged for the whole bottle. I am a reasonable person and I get that there are misunderstandings, but this was just bizarre. He also put his hand in my face while I was trying to explain what happened to him like I’m an idiot woman and took the bottle away from me during his tantrum so I didn't even get what he made me pay for. He screeched like a banshee that he will "comp the entire bill" which wasn’t even necessary (like I said we had already paid and tipped, I was just questioning the charge for the full bottle) but I am sure he won't because he kicked us out! Overall there could have been better communication from the beginning but his reaction was so very weird."
"The Cove is one of our favorite spots to go! We love the rotating menu of craft beers and the wines are always delicious. There is something for everyone! Plenty of outdoor space and games as well."
"Nice local place for beer and wine, some snacks and a good spot for socializing with friends. Sort of like a Texas style pub. They have lots of craft beers on tap and had some nice wines as well."
