Nestled in the Shady Acres neighborhood of the Heights, McIntyre's Spirits & Friends caters to sports enthusiasts, beer nerds, wine lovers, and social butterflies alike. The bar prides itself on excellent customer service, with bartenders going above and beyond to ensure a quality experience for all guests.
In response to customer feedback, McIntyre's has implemented a 23 and up age policy starting May 1st, 2017. The bar is grateful for the warm reception and support from the community since its opening. With a range of promotions and events, including $5 22 oz. Mexican beers and a Modelo Golf Bag Giveaway, McIntyre's is the perfect spot to unwind and socialize. Operating hours are Monday to Wednesday from 4 PM to 12 AM, Thursday from 4 PM to 2 AM, Friday from 2 PM to 2 AM, Saturday from 11 AM to 2 AM, and Sunday from 11 AM to 12 AM.

"Can't speak for the food but the service here is terrible it wasn't even busy and our waitress kept forgetting our order and taking forever we had to order directly from the bar several times because we couldn't find her. Even when she did bring out our drinks it would be incorrect or the beer would be warm from sitting out so long. Other than that the space is big and I believe it's a 23 and up bar. They have swings and a lot of seating and TV's perfect to catch a game. You can also bring your dog."
"Found a great sports bar in Houston to watch Lions Bucs. Big group of Lions fans turned up and made it extra fun to watch the Lions win. Wait staff was fast with buckets of beers and they have Golden Tee for you golfers. Trendy spot- lot of people looking great and having fun! Valet is available."

"23+ instead of 21+, which is nice, creates a different crowd. Lots of tvs with all the games. Causal. Gets busy, but doesn't take too long to get a drink. 4 stars because parking isn't great"
"Nice typical sports bar. Very different vibe from the downtown location. Not as cool looking as that one but still nice. Valet parking was $20. They have free parking next to it but can get full. Drinks are ok priced but honestly I think every bar has overpriced drinks. Didn't really like the vibe so I won't come again but that's just my opinion. Still a nice place to have some drinks at."
