Fat Birds Wing Bar 3209 Courtyard Drive, Midland, TX 79705

"TLDR: OVERPRICED, MID TASTE. Walking in, counter straight ahead and bar to the right. 8 high seats at the bar. 5 TV's that work, three over bar and two working over head on the left. Ordered 8 wings and a drink, no Fry's. Total for it was $19!!! Yikes, the drink cup is small but if the wings are good whatever. Place was pretty dead so wings took about 10~15 minutes. Wings came out warm and are were surprisingly slightly breaded. (I like breaded wings) The flavors I ordered were Mango Habanero and Sweet Thai chili. Wing size was comparable to BWW and the taste was a let down. The Sweet Thai Chili didn't taste like anything and the Mango Habanero was soggy JUST like at Twin Peaks. If you like soggy then these aren't as soaked. The spice level was nowhere near as the Mango Habanero from BWW or Wingstop. All in all, if you want to have a beer and chill somewhere semi quiet, eat some wings, then go to Buffalo Joe's ."

"This was my first time trying wings in Midland as a new resident and I must say they were super crispy and delicious. The gentleman that took my order over the phone recommended I get the barbecue sauce on the side and I appreciate that! 10/10 food, service, quality, and reasonably priced!"

"The wings were very good. They were crispy and generously covered in sauce, but not too overwhelming. The one complain I'd have is that the wings themselves were a bit small, especially for price paid. I would still go back, but I wouldn't make a habit of it. The fries though were some of the best sweet potato fries I've had here in Midland. I will say that the service was very friendly and quick."

"Food was good, the Mexi Cali fries were my favorite. Mango habanero is spicy, the Aloha was salty but the ranch balanced it out, garlic parm was the least favorite because of the lack of seasoning. The Nashville hot sandwich was little, no spice, and needed some more sauce, not worth $8. Garlic noodles were amazing! They should designate a outside smoking area, away from the door; we walked in and out inhaling second hand smoke which wasn't appreciated, some of the smokers looked to have been employees."
