Reviews of Kirby Ice House - The Woodlands
"Easily one of my favorite places to hang out in The Woodlands. Always plenty of seating, great atmosphere, excellent service. They always have every game on and will change the channel of the TV you’re watching to whatever game you request. The food trucks are hit or miss but you can bring in your own food to eat so food isn’t an issue, just need to plan ahead!"
"Came here to hangout with some family I hadn’t seen in a while. The service was really good, our waitress came around frequently and made sure our tabs were well organized. The atmosphere was also very good, it was a Saturday with college football across their many screens. Just about everybody inside was wearing some sort of college gear. They also had good drinking games around like huge Jenga, connect four and cornhole. The food there was a huge letdown. Pictured is the “Loaded Nachos” which I could have made for $2 but instead got charged $10. Stay away from there Mexican food truck, the Cajun food was much better. I also saw people walking in with their own food so that would probably be a much better option."
"We stopped in for a beer after dinner. Had never been here but we were pleasantly surprised. The beer was cold, games were on everywhere, and there was a pleasant feel about the place. We got waited on quickly and got served quickly. I would definitely recommend this place. We will be back. If you haven’t been, then you need to go. If you have already been, then go back!"
"This is a pretty cool place. We went on a Saturday, and despite it being pretty busy, there was enough space for us to find places to sit both in and outside. Waitstaff was kind of thinly spread, but we never had a hard time getting a drink. Food trucks were good too. We will definitely come back."
"My friend had her birthday party at The Woodlands location. We were in the very large, outdoor, covered area that was cooled with misting fans. There were both bar tables and comfortable seating areas with couches and coffee tables. The area we were at was clean. There were cocktail waitresses that came around or you could go to the bar area. I ordered a drink from the waitress and didn't have to wait very long to be served. Even with my very generous tip, the drink didn't cost more than I would pay at a regular bar. You could bring your own food or buy food at one of the three food trucks that were parked on the premises. I only tried one thing and it was typical food truck fare. I thought it was a little pricey but still fairly affordable and convenient. Were I to go back, I would bring my own food. I saw outdoor games and other areas that were not covered. They are dog friendly and two of my friend's guests brought their dogs. I did not visit the restroom so can't report on cleanliness. Parking was free but on busy days you may have to circle a few times to find a spot. Their website includes a food truck calendar, daily specials, tap menu, and event scheduling. If they were less of a drive for me, I would go back."
