Reviews
"HOT showers for $2, laundry machines, gas, AND a convenience store! The best stop ever. No change machine anymore since someone decided to steal it, so you have to get change at the register, but they are the nicest and most helpful people. Showers were clean and really hot. Helpful for us staying outside of the park in an AirBnB without a shower."
"No idea why the village store has so many negative reviews. We had a great experience and interaction with both of the staff, gave us loads of information, were really friendly and helpful. The store has everything you will need. The showers are open 23hours and are only closed between 8am-9am to be cleaned. The showers are only going to be as clean as people leave them so just keep that in mind, dirty showers are not a reflection on the staff, your staying on a campsite not a 5* hotel and the shower costs $2 what more do you expect? Also there is no issue with a smell or sewage."
"The two that work at this store are unbelievably rude. They both think very highly of themselves and somehow think all their customers are idiots. They also feel the need to scream when they speak so everyone can hear every interaction. My husband said the men’s room stunk like urine and both the women’s and the men’s showers and restrooms were disgusting. Why the park or private company employs these two is beyond me. Stock up somewhere else if you can."
"This place is taking advantage of the captive audience in the park. There's literally no other place to go, so they don't care how awful the experience is. The bathrooms are disgusting and smell awful. The hot water doesn't really work. So you're going to take a cold shower. The laundry "facilities" are a joke. There are 2 ancient washers and 2 (equally ancient) dryers, one of which is out of order. The building itself is falling apart. The prices in the store are very high, which is to be expected and not a huge deal. I'm willing to pay a little extra for little conveniences in the middle of nowhere. But they're definitely not putting their profits back into improving the store. There's a dump station, but the rinse water hose doesn't work, and the portable water is only for drinking (according to the sign). So you'll need to find somewhere else to flush your black water pipes. The employees aren't very helpful and don't seem to care about the park itself. This store isn't run by the park, btw. It's a private company. But I can't imagine why the park allows them to operate the way they're operating. Surely there's a contract? Maybe not. Either way, don't come here unless you're desperate."
"This place has SHOWERS! Ha ha! Get you Gasoline or Diesel here! They have an air compressor also! There is a laundry mat as well. I was very pleased with the snack selections s drinks! Did I mention showers?"
