"My brother and I went last Sunday, conservative and probably are worth more than the owners. We were waiting on drinks and were bombarded by a group of Caucasian people and the bartender , white make with a ball cap completely ignored us. I think this is one of the last “strongholds” of Cypress are since the demographic shift is happening. Need better service for all patrons ."

"It's definitely one of the largest bars I have been to in the Houston area. There are plenty of games to play from pool tables, darts, beer pong etc... huge selection of beers and a large selection of mixed drinks, too. Karoke on certain nights, lots of great music. Great bartenders and staff. Awesome place on the weekends. Definitely will be going back whenever I am in town again. It's a great place to hang out and party !!!"

"Olympix sits back in the center of an ordinary business strip mall at 11133 Huffmeister. But what we found inside was anything but ordinary! This place is full of hidden surprises. Olympix calls itself a "sports bar" and, while that may be fine for the signboard description outside, this place is NOT your typical "sports bar". Let me rephrase it this way: "Olympix is what every sports bar should be!" Yeah, that sounds much better! THE VENUE: (place) Let's talk about the venue itself. Olympix is uniquely distinct from your stereotyped sports bar. Typical sports bars focus on the latest televised seasonal sporting activities. But what if you or, more importantly, your date wants to actually engage in conversation and interact with each other? Olympix thought this out ahead of time. THEY HAVE SHUFFLE BOARD! (Sorry, but playing shuffle board with my fiance introduced me to a whole other fiercely competitive woman living inside of her who subsequently became my wife!) However, if you're not quite ready for the nuptials just yet, they also have a lot of other competitive games to bring out the trash talk buried inside all of us. They also have darts, ping pong, golf simulators, corn hole, bocce ball, basketball and more games than we had time to play in the 4 hours we were here! THE VIBE: (product) Most places featuring indoor and outdoor areas, anyone can clearly see and distinguish those two separate areas. Olympix is set up a little differently. The entire indoor atmosphere "feels" like you're outdoors. It's hard to explain. You really need to experience it to understand what I'm talking about here. We were meeting a group of friends we hadn't seen in a while and introducing new friends to our group. Olympix is the perfect venue because they offer so many different activities to get everyone engaged. THE VIP: (people) The "Very Important People" making Olympix stand out from other sports bars is the bar staff, of course. The entire staff! Not to downplay the hard work of the entire staff for having to be paid to deal with people like me every night, Olympix does have their own VIP among a staff of VIPs. My personal standout VIP on this night is "LT", as in "lieutenant", as in "because she's bossy". (She's actually a real softy.) LT is attentive! She was on top of our drink orders while simultaneously running the entire upper bar area with... well... military precision, like a real bossy person. PS: Ask for a Moscow Mule and watch LT the "lieutenant" shape shift into LT the "mixologist". This was also another unexpected surprise for the type of bar Olympix displays outside. VIRAL: (spread the word) Olympix is so much more than the typical "sports bar" label slapped on the sign outside!"

"Love the games and happy hour prices! Bags, bocce ball, trash can pong, pool, TruGolf, Golden Tee, darts, slots, ping pong, card tables, basketball hoop, skee-ball, floor shuffle-board, and giant-size Connect 4. 18 large screen TVs. An outdoor patio AND an ATM machine. Need I say more??"
