"I've been waiting for a long time to write this review. I wanted to visit many, many times to make sure that my review was accurate. After my market research and due diligence I can say that this place is CONSISTENTLY good. It's more of a local dive bar so don't think you'll find super fancy or super high end anything here. However, that's what makes this place "good" - the servers are, hands down, the BEST and nicest. They have pool tables, darts, and tons of pinball machines. Lots of sitting area, outside patio. Fridays and Saturday nights DJ Venom is always busting the BEST beats ever. It's never super duper crowded but the crowd... what can I say about the crowd. Besides the bartenders, the crowd here is what keeps bringing me back. You'll find old. You'll find Young. You'll find black. You'll find white. And you'll find me (a brown girl). Mostly locals and some strays. But everyone kinda does their own thing and is usually friendly. Bar food is freshly fried and always delicious (though basic). They make a mean old fashioned and the cocktails are cheap, when I say cheap I mean cheap. I love this place."

"Bars and pubs are not too difficult to find, but sometimes, you might want something extra: a bar that offers more than just a stopping place for food, drinks, and sports viewing. If you like the idea of a bar that offers a little more elbow room and more than the usual features, then you might consider Einstein’s Pub, a mainstay of the Katy nightlife scene. Einstein’s Pub is larger than the average pub, with space inside to hold more than 100 people. You don’t realize how large it truly is until you walk inside. This pub has a full bar, a good number of beers on tap, and good, basic bar food munchies like burgers, chicken strip, tacos, cheese sticks, and other options. The food and drink are all reasonably priced with even better drink deals during happy hour, making this a good choice when funds are limited. You can watch sports at Einstein’s Pub, but the real attraction at this pub is its games. You can shoot pool, play darts, partake in numerous electronic games, and play pinball. Pinball is probably the standout, with about fifteen or so different machines. This might be the largest pinball selection in the entire Katy area. Einstein’s Pub has special deals and is known for its steak night, pint night, and very good happy hour deals. Because it is located in a strip mall, there is no issue with parking, as there is abundant space. One restriction that you need to keep in mind is that Einstein’s Pub is limited only to those age 21 and up. This is an establishment for adults only, and unless I’m mistaken, I believe this rule holds true during all hours of operation. One of Einstein’s Pub’s other claims to fame is that it is one of the very few establishments that once allowed indoor smoking. As far as I know, they have eliminated or plan to eliminate indoor smoking, but I noticed that the smell of smoke still lingers in the air. If you want to smoke, you should step outside. They have outdoor seating, so it should be fine. Pubs are known for their drinks, televised sports, and usually food. But Einstein’s Pub offers more. It’s one of the best places in Katy for games, and a great choice if you love playing several rounds of pinball on different machines. It’s a nice part of the Katy nightlife scene, and a place I recommend."

"Laid back vibe. Pretty good craft beer selection. My wife had the blue cheese burger and it was quite tasty. Staff was friendly and attentive. Plenty of parking. Now the important stuff = an EXCELLENT pinball lineup. All the pins were in great shape and worked well - the owner clearly cares about maintaining his machines. And the volumes were turned up where you could hear them very well - this is a rarity for pinball machines in bars and makes a HUGE difference to the game enjoyment. Also a darkened environment so no glares. Priced at 50-75 cents per game, depending on the title. Most of the Stern titles had Insider Connected set up. Also had some arcade games, dart boards, pool tables, and an air hockey table, which are normally big pluses in my book, but it's all about the pins for me here. I'll definitely be back."
