The Children's Place 4511 North Midkiff Road, Midland, TX 79705

"Came in to the store with my daughter today to purchase some uniforms, and allow her to choose some clothing. Children’s Place is her favorite. Any other Children’s Place we’ve been in has not given us the problems we encountered today. We were browsing for clothes, and multiple employees were hovering over us, and taking clothing out of our hands to fold it and put it away. We were not being disruptive or making a mess. They followed us around the store. Asking what size we needed of what we were looking for to hand it to us and they would not allow us to look!! At one point an employee took a shirt out of my daughters hands that we were going to buy, to refold it and put it back on the rack. When I finally said “Is there a problem?” The employee responded with “No my boss makes us do this or we get in trouble” I understand wanting to keep a store tidy, and had we been making a mess, I’d be more understanding. But not even allowing a customer to look is frustrating and not okay."

"Went into this store yesterday with a couple friends, having just been last week with no problems not wearing a mask. I have an ailment that makes masking impossible, it is not an option for me. Upon entering we were offered masks and told we’d be required to wear them. After explaining this to the associate, she proceeded to ask me what my ailment was(which I’m not required to disclose because of hippos laws) so I explained I’m not required to disclose such personal information just to shop at a store. She backed off but then the manager came over and again told me if I wouldn’t wear a mask I’d be required to leave, even knowing that I had a medical condition that prevented masking. In a nutshell, I was denied service because of an ailment that prevents me from masking. How inconsiderate to make these company policies knowing you’re excluding 100’s of thousands of Americans with conditions that do not allow them to mask. Guess I’ll shop at Walmart or other stores that although they have their own mask policies, make accommodations for those that cannot wear them."

"I called the 877 number listen the website for Children Place. I would give customer service a negative if I could. I went thru the prompts 6 times. I pushed the appropriate buttons and the recording merely started over. I pushed 2 for Children's Place Specialist, 5 for customer service, then 1 to pay a bill although I don't have a bill. Total waste of time to get my question answered regarding a random text I got referring to a mobile confirmation for a credit card. Make me think someone is hacking from this company."

"There is absolutely no room to push a stroller through this store. There were 3 other people in there the same time I was and they all had strollers and we couldn't even shop. I had to push racks around just to get through to the clothing on the wall and the tables. I understand its the holidays so there will be more product out, but this is seriously a fire hazard to all customers and if I didnt have to get my daughter the clothes she needed I would have thrown in the towel and went somewhere else and spent more money. Great prices, but if you want to shop there, dont bring your children, or a stroller until they can get this place less cluttered."

"The employees were very rude and when I went to make a return for being charged with items I did not purchase.. I asked to speak to a manager and this lady employee lied to me and said she was the manager. Finally the actual manager helped us and the lady yelled from across the counter “did you ladies get everything taken care of?” When it wasn’t her sell or had anything to do with her. This place needs all new staff ASAP!"
