The Basement Bar

"We enjoyed our time at the basement bar until it was shift change. We had open tabs at shift change and they took the liberty of closing those tabs and adding on their own tips and even signed our cc receipts. We were sitting there enjoying ourselves when we got notifications from our banks that our cards had been ran. It was alarming to find they took the liberty of tipping themselves whatever they wanted and signed our names to the tickets. This is not ok and I did not authorize that. Besides that. I ordered 4 beers and 1 vodka cranberry and was charged nearly $60. I recommend paying cash at this bar."

"Neat little bar that gets very crowded on a Saturday night. They had live music and I didn't catch the guy's name but he played really well and it sounded excellent in there. It's a small place but has a cool vibe."

"Had never been there before but was treated by my daughter and son in law who were in town. There was a fun Halloween costume contest and I've never had better jello shots. I will definitely go back!"

"Besides being a bit of a death trap this is a pretty fun dive bar. Dollar bills cost the ceiling and people are friendly. The door man was friendly and funny. The bartender said "thats not my problem" when I explained someone took my drink, so that wasn't nice but short of that fun place to go dance and hang out."

"Loved this little dive bar. Visited right at opening while I was at the Stockyards. Opened up dead on time - thank God as my time was pressed. Enjoyed a cold Corona. Friendly bartender and just a neat little place. Would LOVE to go there again when I had more time to spend!"
