"Found some good deals, but store is completely packed with people and lots of empty shelves. I was nearly run over by teenagers running thru store several times, and then after waiting in line for 20 min, my turn to check out. Yes, all available checkers had long lines back into the aisles. The main product I came for I didn't purchase as it was ringing up wrong price and they don't have enough staff to go price check. So, I left without my product. I shopped both stores tonight that are in Alamo... Walmart and HEB, they both were busy, I can't believe I'm gonna say it, but I preferred shopping at Walmart tonight. HEB you need to step up, I didn't have to wait 20 min in line at Walmart."

"This HEB is always great to me. Very close to me and the staff are always attentive and ready to help. The store is always clean whenever I go and items are easy to find. The store is open real late which comes in clutch when I'm in need of some last second items. 10/10 would shop there again."

"This is a good place to do your everyday grocery shopping. Most of the times you can go in and come out rather quickly once in awhile there is a long line and you got to do some waiting. My only problem is when I can buy some things there and then all of a sudden they no longer handle them and I need to look for another HEB who does."

"Certainly not the worst store in the RGV. That have some pretty good sales on particular items. They would really serve themselves a big favor, by opening at 5am. I know a lot of seniors, like myself, who love to get their shopping done early (yes, to avoid the crowds!). Thank you."

"Have the Big Blue which is my favorite soda to drink when I come to Texas. Bought 2 different salads and they where really good and of course had to get my favorite comic. The lines to check out where long, but they did move quickly. I would have given them a 5 star, but the fact that the self checkout lines are for only 15 and 10 items or less is frustrating cause I like to use the self checkout lines."
