"Still one of my favorite places in town. I can’t speak to the Indian food specifically as I usually get the Mediterranean dishes, but I’ve never had a bad order. Fresh and tasty food. Also the portions are big, we asked for extra falafel and she gave us a ton. Owner is super sweet!"
"Ordered takeout so can’t speak to the atmosphere of the restaurant but our food was NOT good. It was prepared quickly and on time though. I’ve eaten Indian food all over the country and world and this was in the bottom 10%. I had chicken vindaloo which hardly had any meat in it, no potatoes at all and was overly tomato flavored. The other two people in my group also thought their Indian dishes were very lackluster and each of us would not go back to this restaurant again. Unfortunately it’s the only Restaurant Indian food restaurant I’m aware of in New Braunfels but the drive to San Antonio is more than worth it to get actually good Indian cuisine."
"Happy to find 7 Monk Café. It's simple, not fancy, but to find anything locally with a Gluten Free menu is superb. No issues. I was very satisfied and the serving size was adequate."
"I tried this place for the first time the other day. I had the chicken korma (medium spicy), Naan, and iced chai. Everything was delicious! I like that there are different spice options as well. The owner was very nice and gave information on different menu items. I'll definitely visit again in the near future."
"This place is so embarrassing. The Saag Paneer was a LIQUID? Never in my life have I ever been served Saag Paneer in liquid form, a complete waste of money. The “garlic naan” isn’t even naan. It’s pita bread. The rice has absolutely zero flavor to it. Do yourself a favor and get Indian food literally anywhere else."
