"Got me in and out quickly. They were cash only when I went. Paid $85 for a tire which is a great price. No complaints"
"NEVER GO HERE. HORRIBLE. We popped a tire and pulled up about 15 mins to close. We weren’t expecting full service. We just wanted to borrow a wrench and we’re willing to pay. They refused, and closed up, locking the gate up front. Then less than two mins later, another dude pulls up, and he is more helpful that the actually people working there. They opened the gate for him to roll a tire in, and amicably talked with him, whereas they gave my dad short answers. Note: this guy was white and we are Hispanic. Our tire was flat, the last of the air wasted on the drive to this place. The two men sat in their car out front for about five minutes before leaving us stranded there. So, closed early, denied service, helped out someone else who arrived after us, and left us stranded there. If I could give less than a star, I would. Rude and unfriendly people without a spec of human decency. As a person who works in customer service and has been on both sides of situations like these, I am appalled."
"Mostly unfriendly people who never smile. Some are better than others, but they all just usually seem like their in a bad mood. I’ve gone here probably 15 times over the past few years, and the price has gone (to patch a tire) from $20 to $25 to $30. The only good thing about them is that they are fast. But the last time I went, they fixed my flat, and then told me AFTER it was fixed that their credit card system was down, and they could only take cash, so I had to let them hold my ID while I went to an ATM to get cash, so it cost me another 15 minutes out of my day. They could have told me BEFORE they did the work, but they didn’t want to lose out on a sale. And they overinflate your tires 100% of the time. They never check PSI after a patch. My tires are supposed to be filled to 32 PSI, and they are usually over 50 when I leave the repair shop. About two weeks ago, I went to Tires for You, on Lamar and Denson. They fixed my flat for free, but it took an hour. I prefer to support local Mom & Pop businesses, but I will never go back to Ron’s again."
"I absolutely if I could rate this place 100 Stars I had 2 hours to get my car from where it was because it was on flat and a tow zone nobody in Austin had my tire size at all I called Ron's tire and battery at first he didn't have it and I got a call back within 5 minutes because he double checked his intuition and he actually had one left I showed up 3 minutes to him closing he actually stayed open just for me as a customer and made sure that I was good to go and get this tire put back on my car it definitely saved my car and a tow thank you so much again if I could write this place I would rate it 100 Stars very friendly people and goes above and beyond to customer satisfaction then I've ever seen in a long time thank you again"
