"I dropped one sling off at iCar Houston on August 03, 2020 and I was initially told that it would take six three weeks to complete. To date, that sling has still not been completed. When I drove away in the vehicle, I noticed there was a screw in the tire, the speakers were connected improperly, which blew all 6 compression drivers. The subwoofer amp was blown and in protection mode. This vehicle was missing twelve screws and had the wrong screws place in the front fender. Although this vehicle was incomplete, it was picked up on December 11, 2020 because it was getting an extensive audio upgrade. Jesse Arzola, the owner of iCar Houston was made aware of all the issues with this vehicle and he told me to take it to the audio shop to get the audio system completed, so if anything else happened to the vehicle they would fix everything at one time. I agreed, because we had a great business relationship and we had started other business endeavors. I rec’d a discounted price because this was the first slingshot iCar Houston had ever painted and I was sending additional slingshot owners and automobile owners to iCar Houston for paint and body work. I dropped my other sling off on October 12, 2020. I was told that, because iCar Houston had the process of paining slingshots down and it wasn’t getting as much work done as the first one, that it would “definitely” only take five weeks to complete. The cage poles are not completely painted. The brake calipers are supposed to be taken off the vehicle and painted, but they were painted on the vehicle so they do not match. All of the parts for my audio system (headrest speaker pods, subwoofer covers) were all supposed to be painted and none of these items are painted. The rims for this sling was supposed to be accented blue and to-date, this is still not done (they are still all black). The screws holding the hood wings on were broke so one of the hood wings snapped and flew off the vehicle. The license plate relocator to this vehicle was lost by iCar Houston. The hood braces were broke off, by iCar Houston, and never replaced. This vehicle also has a missing gas cap. This vehicle was picked up in February 2021. Jesse Arzola, the owner of iCar Houston was made aware of all the issues with this vehicle, as well. Jesse told me to take it to the audio shop with the other one and he would take care of these items after the audio was installed. I was able to find new hood wings for $200 and Jesse Arzola, told me he would reimburse me for the hood wings and the license plate relocator. This never happened. This vehicle also needs to be wet sanded and paint imperfections need to be fixed. I was supposed to bring both vehicles back to get all issues resolved, once the audio had been completed. I received a text message from Frank (a new business partner at iCar Houston) stating that he has heard rumors that I was starting. And whether those rumors are true or not, any discounts that I rec’d, working with iCar Houston were voided and they were going to hold all my parts that were in their possession. Frank has only been at iCar Houston for about a month and I can only assume that he wasn’t completely aware of everything that Jesse and I had previously discussed (to include issues with vehicles) and what arrangements we had in place. iCar Houston had my red sling from August to December (6 months) and they had my black sling from October to February (5 months). I lost money on hotels and events, due to iCar Houston not keeping true to the initial timeframes given to me. During this time, I was still making payments on my vehicles and was unable to use them. In August of 2020, I recommended iCar Houston to a friend of mine to get her bumper repaired, on her Acura TLX. Jesse told her it would take 3 weeks to complete and iCar Houston had her car for 3 months, just to replace a bumper and tail light."

As a retired insurance agent, I have had a great deal of interaction with body shops. iCAR is the real deal. Since my wife and I retired to Houston, my car repair contacts were back in Central Texas. I am glad to meet with a body shop who dealt with me honestly. Should I need paint and body car repairs,, iCAR is on the top of my list."
