"I've been here two times now for separate car issues, and each time I've received really kind and great service. I also appreciate Roxanne, who is very helpful. If my husband and I ever have future car issues, this is the place we'll be going!"
"Great customer service. Great car repair work. They take a good hard look at your car, find the specific issues, inform you clearly what those issue are, and then ask which of the issue you would like them to fix. They want to help you efficiently in terms of time and money. They are not pushy. Eric's is a breath of fresh air as a modern business built on quality work and the customers' best interests. Roxanne at the from desk is the bomb!"
"Good quality of work but hmmm how do I put it…they are good at making you purchase services when you don’t need. I was told to get many things replaced and changed , but when I asked another car shop to check it for me, most of the services weren’t needed immediately or weren’t even a concern. I’m just a bit disappointed - I came here because I lived close by and I trusted them. But realizing that they aren’t doing this for my best interest, I had to search for other car shops - and guess what…a lot of them are better than this."
"Wow! Don’t know where to start. This place has excellent customer service. Specifically, Roxanne is incredible at this location. They fought for us hard to get car shield to cover some of the necessary fixes. I’d also say they are an excellent communicator. I got calls every step of the way, even when my car needed to stay a day or two longer to trace some issues. Overall, very impressed with Roxanne!! I will say that this location is way better than the one in the medical center up the street. I went there and was treated pretty poor by the car at the front. He claimed they didn’t even take car shield and even said they didn’t have time to look at my car when I had an appointment scheduled in advance… I picked up the phone to call the Rice Village location and talked to Roxanne and got in right away. Overall, A+ customer service and experience. Will continue to come here!"
"So based on these great reviews for Eric’s Car Care, I had my car towed here to Eric’s car repair. The car would not start, so Eric’s auto diagnosed the issue for a fee. Then they called and told me an alternator needed for the car repair would be $850.00 and also, I needed a battery for another $280.00. I am assuming since the car was towed there that they thought that I had no other options (I was a sitting duck), and would pay whatever. I told them no, I’ll pay the diagnose fee, and I would have the car picked up. I then got a call back from Eric’s Car Care and they told me the manager was going to give me a “deal” for $580.00. I said no, this does not look right. I called a couple other repair shops in the area, one quoted about the same as Eric’s manager’s “deal” price of 580.00. Then I found Midas off of Westheimer and they, even though later in the day, could replaced the alternator for $400.00 plus tax. A savings of $180.00. I asked Midas about the battery condition, but he said it needed to be fully charged before he could estimate the condition of the battery. I went ahead and replaced the battery myself for about 119.00. I thought 280.00 for a car batter was also ridiculous, and I saved 161.00 by avoiding getting a battery at Eric’s Car Care. If there is work or repairs needed to be done on the car, it’s best not to use or rely on reviews as now I don’t trust them. Best to do your homework and get bids for the work needed to be done if you can."
