Einstein Bros. Bagels

"I’m a fan of Einstein Bagles and have been excited to try this new location. I arrived for lunch at 1PM which is an hour before they close. I walk in and all the chairs were put up and an employee was vacuuming. I was confused and asked if they were closing but she said no and proceeded to take my order. When asked if I wanted a drink, I said I’d take a fountain drink. Then I was asked what kind which was weird because it’s self serve. She then told me they had disconnected the fountain drinks for cleaning… With an hour left before closing. I work out of my truck and don’t typically enjoy having to eat in my truck so it’s a treat to be able to sit in a restaurant and enjoy myself for lunch. But since all the chairs were put up and someone was vacuuming an hour before closing, I had no choice but to go eat in my truck. The food came out perfectly and the employees were helpful. But all things considered, I was a little disappointed."

"Great fresh bagels same taste. Yes, the wait is very long. But the food is great. Recently opened in this area and only one that I know in the area, that's why it's crowded with delays."

"The first time we came here, we were over charged. When it was brought to the manager’s attention, we were refunded cash instead of the money being put back on our card. The manager didn’t apologize for the inconvenience or offer to put the money back on our card. I had ordered a bakers dozen and repeated my order to the cashier three times. Once we got home, our order was wrong. Even though the order was incorrect, the bagels were good this time. Last week, I tried going through the drive through on three separate occasions. The first two times, I had to exit the line after waiting 10 minutes to order. The third time I tried, it took about 15 minutes start to finish. I ordered a french toast bagel, sliced and toasted with regular cream cheese. It cost right under $5 for the one bagel. As seen in the pictures, the bagel was burnt in most places and definitely tasted like it. I’m going to give this place one last try before calling it quits as I understand they’re still new and trying to get the hang of things. But as of right now, the service and food quality has not been worth the money or hassle."

"1st timer and I love a fresh bagel!! Service was good, they explained they were short staffed which was okay. Everywhere is short staffed in actuality, the wait wasn’t long and Mikala was the sweetest! Dined in for breakfast and ordered the “Farmhouse” egg sandwich meal with 1 egg and the shmear on the side as well as a French toast bagel. The sandwich was literally really fresh, the bagel, the egg, everything which I could always appreciate! I’d give it a 10/10. The hash brown was ok, I was more like a baked hash brown cake, 6/10. The French toast bagel was absolutely divine. I wash I would’ve got the honey cream cheese instead of the plain but it was still a 10/10. Now the price. The price is why I’m giving this restaurant a 4 star rating. Now yes everything was fresh, the service and atmosphere was good I do not like to be deceived when it comes to prices. The menu states the sandwich is 6.99 w/1 egg and to make it a meal which includes the hash brown and coffee or oj would be an additional 3.89. Walk with me and do the math, 6.99+3.89=10.88 +tax. On my receipt I was charged 8.78 for the sandwich, 1.69 for the hash brown & 3.49 for the Oj totaling 13.96 +tax. Went back to ask about the receipt pricing and was explained that’s how we’re supposed to ring it up and it’s the same when it is not when there’s almost a $4 difference. Although I had a good experience and could appreciate the food being fresh the menu and actual price not matching making this an over priced meal will be the reason for me not returning. "Einstein Bros. Bagels, the beloved bagel chain, has recently opened its doors in Aubrey, Texas, bringing its fresh-baked bagels and signature sandwiches to the community. As a new establishment, it's understandable to experience some bumps in the road, and Einstein Bros. Bagels is no exception. However, despite these minor hiccups, my recent visit left me with a positive overall impression. The Aubrey location is situated in a convenient spot, easily accessible from US 380. The interior is bright and welcoming, with ample seating for both dine-in and carry-out customers. The staff is friendly and eager to assist, though they may still be getting their bearings as they navigate the new environment. When it comes to the food, Einstein Bros. Bagels delivers on its promise of fresh, delicious bagels. In addition to bagels, Einstein Bros. Bagels also offers a variety of breakfast sandwiches. While my experience at Einstein Bros. Bagels was mostly positive, there were a few areas for improvement. The overall service was a bit slow, which is likely due to the newness of the store and the staff still getting acclimated. Despite these minor challenges, I believe Einstein Bros. Bagels in Aubrey has the potential to be a great addition to the community. The fresh bagels, delicious food, and friendly staff make it a worthwhile stop for breakfast or lunch. With a little more time and experience, I'm confident that they'll iron out the kinks and provide an even smoother and more enjoyable dining experience for their customers."
