"Great place to get work done on your vehicle, when you buy your own parts and only pay labor."
"Came in to get my window motor replaced and they got it done quickly. The price was great and the service was exceptional. I highly recommend this shop to everyone in San Antonio!"
"Would definetly recommend, fixed my headlight in a day only took about 3hrs and they gave me a great discount."
"Very dissatisfied with this business. I bought some headlights in to get replaced wanting an estimate on how much they would charge me. They assured me that they would call me back with an estimate promptly & I was free to leave. After some time, they called me back with an amount out of my pay grade so I assured them I would not be continuing with their services to which they replied, "Well we already started, so you are going to have to pay us for that anyways". I understand this is partially my fault for leaving my car there without knowing the extent of their services; nonetheless, I did not give them the validation to start working on my vehicle. Ended up paying a "Diagnostic fee" of $99.50, & when asked what they specifically did with my car before leaving, it was to my surprise they actually hadn't worked on it. Simply just popped the hood, ran their "Diagnostic", & charged me for declining service. Moral of the story, not a good place to bring your vehicle. I would definitely recommended another auto shop."
"I don't regularly write reviews, though I read them a lot, specially before trusting my car to someone I don't know. Its very hard to find a mechanic that you can trust to do good work and be honest with the cost. I have been bringing my car to BYOP for several years now and always been very satisfied , not only with the price, but how they explained what needed to be done, why and how much it would cost. I drive a Porsche 924T and I took my car there the first time because the twin owner's cars are high performance cars as well and I figure they would know how to take care of them. Although it took me a while, I no longer have to stay there the whole time watching and making sure they only work on the area of my car that has the issue. I just drop my car and they will call me when is done. And its far less expensive that the Porsche dealership."
