"I actively avoid coming to this TJ Maxx. This is because of two workers here. Specifically the lady from the Jewelry counter and I believe the other lady that might be store manager, they might be related because they sound similar and look alike. This is the closest tj maxx I have and I would rather go to the one by lakeline mall just to avoid these two. I love the jewelry from TJ Maxx, but woman is constantly talking about other things and forgets that she’s working. She called it today “making conversation”. To a certain extent I accept it and is even nice. But she goes overboard and talks about the same things over and over again, like I’ve had to ask her multiple times to get the piece of jewelry I am asking for because she doesn’t stop talking about herself and literally forgets. As well as, makes herself seem more important than she is. As someone who wants to talk about the jewelry and maybe some topic similar, I don’t really care about how you could make more money somewhere else or because you were a professor before. I really hate to say it but she’s kind of annoying of a sales person. Bear in mind I have had patience with her, I have had her as my sales associate multiple times. As for the other lady, she flat out annoying because every time I have come to TJ max, even AN HOUR before closing, she tells everyone that comes in that they close in 15 minutes. I understand if this store is hectic and they need to do a lot of cleaning up after the store closes but, literally every person that walks in she says the same thing about the 15 minutes at the top of her lungs. It’s truly so disturbing for the shopper. These two ladies are always there, so there’s no other way around it, except go to another tj max. Also the lines get long."
"First time at this location and the store is stocked in every area. I stopped to purchase a birthday gift and of course found other items. I’m given three stars because I witnessed Myranda being stern to a coworker when he was asking her for advise on putting items out in the Q Line. I get that she was trying to tell him to have creative control, but you could have used a better tone towards him. The way he put his head down- should have been a que to follow up with clarity. Also one of my items did not have a price tag on it and I asked a couple of people on the floor only to be told ask the cashier. Mind you, floor associates will bring a similar item with the highest price. It’s not fair that some customers get penalized for tags not on an item. Yes, I bought the item and given that the TJX family is moving away from coding item - it’s no way they can Lee up with pricing. Lastly, the front door pane is broken, I’m not sure the reason why but given how retail is being hit- it raised a red flag. Will I go back…not sure. But I do believe in giving three chances- strike 3 and a decision will be made."
"While the clothing and jewelry pickings have appeared to slim down since Covid, there is always something you nab here. I never buy luggage anywhere else, for example. That department is incredible as far as the options and styles they have for the prices. Staff has always been very friendly and helpful and some workers I have seen there for over 5 years. Wish they had a place to leave carts in the lot instead of walking them all the way back. That is rough on moms putting kids in the car when it is hot. Or pets."
"Standing in line at this store right now. I came in for a return and the line is super long with only one cashier. She calls for assistance and over the intercom you hear a call for 3 different cashiers. Only two approach the registers after about 10 minutes. I didn't actually shop here and probably will not after my first impression. The folks Standing in line ahead of me seem very unhappy about the fact that there is only one cashier at the register. Many different huffs and puffs few comments even about how long they have been waiting. There is a now hiring sign out front but maybe more advertising better pay better treatment of employees. I don't know but I will not be returning to this store after today."
"This place was overwhelming cause the shelves were so full and stuff stacked on top of each other. They had stuff still in boxes sitting around cause they didn't have anywhere to put it . So actually if you don't mind trying to dig through stuff this is the place to go."
