Right outside of Amarillo, it’s perfect if you want a place to stop for fuel and snacks without going to far away from I 40 to do so. Bathrooms were pristine."

"Our visit to this establishment, lured in by the enticing images of a well-maintained Loves RV hookup, turned out to be a nightmarish ordeal. Instead of the promised oasis, we were met with the grim reality of an unfinished and disorganized RV site that failed to deliver on its basic commitments. Most egregiously, we were inexplicably charged an additional $10 for the dubious privilege of using the dump facilities at the nearby Loves gas station. The site itself was a disarray of construction debris, haphazardly strewn with self-tapping screws, nuts, and exposed pipes that posed serious safety hazards. The supposed landscaping was a sorry sight, characterized by the shoddy laying of sod, resulting in unsightly clumps and patches of mud. Our service animal endured a night of distress, marked by repeated bouts of vomiting, likely a response to the appalling conditions she encountered during her walks on the premises. As if the existing miseries were not enough, the pervasive mud on both the pads and roadways made a mockery of any attempts to keep our RV clean. The ADA site, billed as accommodating, turned out to be a cruel joke, utterly ill-equipped to handle a 40' RV, and devoid of the convenience of a pull-through design. However, the crowning disappointment was the general manager's absolute refusal to provide any semblance of customer service. When we beseeched him for assistance regarding the additional fee for using the dump facilities, he exhibited a stunning lack of empathy and professionalism. His initial response was to dismissively direct us to call the Loves customer service line, washing his hands of any responsibility. When a helpful customer service agent, acting as an intermediary, contacted him to waive the fee, he callously and inexplicably refused, leaving us flabbergasted and utterly disheartened. In summary, our experience at this RV hookup site was nothing short of a fiasco. Nearby competitors charging similar fees provide vastly superior experiences, including on-pad dump hookups. The only redeeming feature of our stay was the quality of the internet service, an oasis in this otherwise desolate landscape of incompetence and negligence. The general manager's stubborn refusal to cooperate or exhibit even a modicum of customer service only compounded our sense of despair and regret for ever setting foot in this woefully mismanaged establishment."
