"The hours have changed AGAIN. Don't blame Covid when clearly this is a staffing issue. If no one wants to work here, and no one gets paid enough to be here, close the store. It's pointless to get order sent here for pick up anymore when you never know if they'll be open or you have to wait until the middle of the day. Who is this store even open for anymore? People who work at the Domain to go in on their lunch break? The rest of us do not have that kind of time on our hands."

"This was our first time shopping at Torrid in Austin. My mom and I are in town to see family. We found a lot of beautiful pieces to revamp our wardrobes. A full 5 STARS goes to Jessica, the cleanliness of the store, and the selection of clothing. We traveled lightly and explained that majority of what we planned to purchase we would like to purchase online and have it shipped to us. My mom was even opening a card to access the deals and savings. Jessica was SO helpful and positive throughout the entire process. When we went to check out, a shorter women with eclectic hair colors and piercings did not exhibit the same positivity and warmth as Jessica. I’m not sure if it was the manager, but she was so rude. She made multiple comments about how we needed to decide what we were purchasing in store v. online. I explained three times that we would like to order and ship as much as possible to our homes (out of state), because we were limited on space with our luggage. Jessica was so kind and helpful! If it weren’t for her, we would have left everything and walked out. The other women’s attitude was not necessary and did not represent what I believe a company wants as the “face” of their store/products. Jessica deserves so much praise! She worked hard the whole time to help us find what we needed, apply for a card, and make a large purchase. This is the first time I found clothes that I feel confident in. I am around a 12/14/16, but my bust size is an F/G, which makes it difficult to find tops that fit. Thank you Jessica for all of your help! Please know the three stars are not a reflection of you, by any means. If anything, I believe you deserve a promotion based off of your work ethic and character. The THREE STARS go to your rude coworker that has nothing better to do than to make people feel like sh**. I hope she finds her niche, which may be a job that does not involve retail or working with people in general. It took everything in us not to drop our huge purchase and walk out, simply because of the way she treated us. Kindness goes a long way, so thank you Jessica for being SO kind! Perhaps if the company has a kindness course, which emphasizes equity, equality, and effective selling approaches, your coworker would greatly benefit from said training. Her involvement in said training would show a positive impact on sales, customer satisfaction, and the overall vibe of your store. Thank you again! I hope corporate takes the time to consider my review and takes action to better the “face” of their company at The Domain."
