"Great location. Minimal food menu. Small but good selection of tap beers. Right next to Thinkery, so relax here after running around with your kids in Thinkery. The ambience is very good, with all those sofas and furniture feels home like. Will visit again for the beer but not for the food."
"I ate a late lunch here the other day with my best friend before we went to a movie. I wanted the Curry Chicken Salad Croissant, but they were out of the curry chicken. That was a bit disappointing. So, I had the Meatloaf Patty Melt instead. It was good, but I really prefer chicken. My bestie got the Monte Cristo Classic. He thought it would be fried, but upon my researching a day after the fact, online I see that the classic is cooked in a pan. I imagine a lot of people think they are getting a fried sandwich though - maybe it would be good to specify that it is pan cooked on the menu or have the waitstaff let people know, to avoid any confusion. So, he was disappointed that it wasn't a fried sandwich. I tried a bite of his and it was okay. It just tasted like any average sandwich though. The chips they serve with the sandwiches are really delicious. I think they are made in house, but I am not positive on that. They had a nice flavor and were good and crispy. Our waiter was really nice and our food came out without too long of a wait, which was good, as we had a movie to get to. I loved the atmosphere of the restaurant. It had a hip, modern feel and with all the huge windows it was nice and bright. I would go back again sometime - I think breakfast would be nice to try."
"Started with the avocado bruschetta, which was good, but was just avocado toast with tomatoes. I had the meatloaf patty melt cuz it sounded interesting, it was honestly one of the best sandwiches I’ve ever had. I upgraded my side of fries to Texas style (which is basically chili cheese fries with avocado on top) they were basically the same taste as the patty melt. I will say with upgrading my fries on the menu it says it it was $6 and they charged me $8, which was fixed after I pointed it out. The Texas sheet cake I was so excited for, then got it and was so disappointed. The cake was obviously refrigerated so was very hard. I took it home and let it thaw a little, then the cake was dry af. For two people the bill with tip was about $90. Also one of the reasons we came was because online it says it’s very dog friendly-even serving food for dogs. When we went they didn’t have any of the 3-4 dog dishes they serve. But they did allow our fur baby outside no problem. I was informed inside is only allowed for service animals, which should probably be noted online, considering it’s a restaurant named after a dog and advertising how dog friendly it is. In my opinion it was about as dog friendly as any bar or restaurant with a patio."
"First time at Blue Lacy (son recommended), good experience. My wife tried the CFS which was very good and I had the Meatloaf Patty Melt which was outstanding, will have this one again, but next time will opt for the kettle chips, not a fan of the fries (soft). Son had the French dip. Wanted to try the chocolate sheet cake for dessert but grandson wanted ice cream at Lick (across the walkway)."
"The Blue Lacy was a nice little place to dine for lunch on a busy afternoon up in Mueller. I got their sliders of the day and I was actually surprised how good they were. They used buffalo and blue cheese and it was a perfect pairing. The Blue Lacy also had a satisfactory beer list and I found a perfect beer very quickly. It wasn’t very crowded but the atmosphere was nice and the servers were attentive. If you find yourself up in the Mueller neighborhood, give them a try. It’s pretty darn good."
