"While the food is great, their time implementation is crazy wild! You can’t eat in peace because you’re on a time limit. The waiter took 15 minutes of that time to bring my first drink, which we had to flag someone else for. Then they asked us to move tables due to a party who showed up with more guests than they reserved and then proceeded to tell us our time was up and we couldn’t order more. Used to love this place but honestly not even worth it anymore."
"We discovered this hidden gym about 6 years ago and have not found a sushi place that we like better. The Ex Girlfriend, Miller Roll & Sassy Susan are our go-to rolls. It gets busy but is worth the wait. We live sitting at the bar. Amazing service every time!"
"Tomodachi Sushi is a must-visit for any sushi lover in Austin. The fish is always fresh, the dishes are unique and creative, and the staff is incredibly friendly and attentive. The only downside is the limited parking, but it's worth the hassle to try this amazing restaurant. The restaurant is located in the North Austin neighborhood, off of Parmer Lane. The menu features a wide variety of sushi rolls, sashimi, and other Japanese dishes. Tomodachi Sushi also has a full bar, with a wide selection of sake, beer, and wine."
"Went back to Tomo to introduce a few friends to some of the best sushi in the Austin area. We split an omakase dinner, and everything was delicious (as always). My best recommendation is to tell the wait staff how much you want to spend and let them take care of the rest."
