"Wonderful place with some hometown diner feel for quality and service. The burgers are perfect and my friend who eats vegetarian food loved the veggie hoagie. Its loaded with sauteed veggies and avocado, he says it's very filling (that thing literally heavy). The prices here are insanely reasonable too. I've been coming here for orders of 7-8 people and spending less than $80."

"Not a bad little place. The pastrami sandwich (opted for heated) was ample and fresh. The bread was awesome. Usually potato chips are potato chips, however; these are the first that I think I can say I didn’t care for. Selected the jalapeño. The chips are branded by the deli, made by others. Didn’t look to see by who…if it was even on there. There was an aftertaste from presumably the oil they were fried in. Funky. In any event, aside from the chips, good sandwiches and I’d recommend."

"A Houston original. The cheese steak sandwich is one of the best in Houston. Order it with some jalapeños for a kick. Family owned and great service. Great price and perfect for lunch break!"

"Wow. Wonderful Deli. We stopped for lunch here on two different days. I had the bowl of chili and a pastrami poboy with spicy mustard. The chili was all meat. Fine grind like a hotdog topping. No frills. It was fantastic. Today I had the gumbo. It was very tasty and quite filling. Nice pieces of sausage and chicken. If I return to Houston, I will eat here again."
