Reviews of Nido
"Beautiful and sexy decor! To date, Eberly has always been one of the most beautiful restaurants in ATX, but Nido is now sharing the same top spot on my list. With the views of ladybird lake and downtown, Nido has stolen my heart. We dined here for brunch and I highly recommend if possible, whether you dine for brunch, lunch or dinner, dine outside on the patio. It was truly lovely. From our first encounter with the valet to the hostess, we knew we would have an enjoyable experience as they were all so helpful, approachable and just lovely. I enjoyed chatting with the hostesses and hearing about their love of working at Nido and having such a great view from their stand. We sat outside and while it was a beautiful day, the air had a slight chill to it but unfortunately, our heater did not work, but we were graciously provided with really thick, nice blankets that really helped. We started with the mimosa flight and although it does not explain what you get for $65, you get a full bottle of champagne as well as 3 flights of juice that includes oj, pineapple, and grapefruit juices. Our dishes consisted of the deconstructed avocado toast, salmon hash, espresso martini's and chocolate croissant. The food was good and the service was attentive from Andre. I will definitely come back."
"We went here over the Fourth of July, due to the outdoor patio, so we could watch the fireworks; despite making a reservation for outside, they seated us inside because there wasn’t any space. The view for the fireworks would not have been great anyway, due to it being a very narrow long patio with the building blocking quite a bit of the view. It ended up getting really crowded around firework time with people standing, so we left. The food itself overall was really good, the fried artichokes (or Brussel sprouts, I cannot remember!), asparagus, cacio e Pe-pea and Parker house rolls being amazing. The drinks were ok; tried a few cocktails but ended up not enjoying them myself so gave to my partner and ordered a White Russian haha. Service was ok - it was busy so to be expected to have some wait; there was a family of six sat next to us who came about 10 minutes after we were seated and got their first round of drinks and appetizers before we got anything of ours, so that was a bit frustrating. May try again on not a holiday, but isn’t high on the list to return."
"We loved it - primarily because of the hotel credit we had to spend here. Everything was spot on and it provided is a romantic nice dinner. Everything was great. Drinks were good but expensive. Not a place we would go without hotel credit but I am glad we chose to spend our credit here - great experience and dinner."
"Love a beautiful rooftop with city views is what I live for!! It’s a bit pricy even though we just came for drinks and shareable. The most important thing was the service which our server could have been a lot better he was just not too friendly and hardly ever checked on us and had to ask other servers for help. I would come back to try brunch and hopefully, the service will be better."
"The dining experience was great. Despite the initial rush, we were promptly seated. My only suggestion is that the restaurant's lighting, while suitable for lunch, felt a touch too bright for a cozy dinner. A more subdued ambiance would have transformed the atmosphere. In terms of service, it was satisfactory. Our server demonstrated excellent knowledge about the menu and wine selections, even sharing the day's specials. However, it seemed she was juggling various tasks, which slightly diminished the overall experience. Had the dinner been more expensive, this might have been more noticeable. Nevertheless, the pricing aligns well with the quality. In conclusion, I do recommend dining here, especially for the stunning views"
