"Food for the price is reasonable, they do refill your sambar and chutney."
"Service and decor was good but food was disappointing, especially for a South Indian. We had floating idli, masala dosa and aloo bhaji puri. Floating idli was okay, puri was good. Dosa was soggy and lacked flavor. Surprisingly, no coconut chutney."
"Great spot for south indian breakfast. The floating idli comes in a bowl full of sambar, with idlis dipped in. The sambar could be better, it tasted more so like andhra lunch sambar, rather than a tiffen sambar. Loved the fiery masala dosa, the potato masala is slathered all over the dosa, with a hint of hotness coming from the spice powder sprinkled atop the potato masala. Masala chai is good, but a bit watery for my liking."
"One of the best values in Houston. 5$ for many set items. Had Fiery Dosa, Yummy Idli, and Upma. Idli are not the fluffy kind - the four of them are substantial in size and density - wish there was more chutney. Comes with sambhar and more importantly a fantastic gun powder with ghee. Great value for $5. Upma portion was very good, soft not grainy, and tasty. Dosa was quite good. Accompanying tomato chutney was spicy as heck."
"5/5 great service, food and experience. Small restaurant in downtown that serves great South Indian food - mainly Dosas (Indian rice batter crepes) and Idlis (rice batter cakes). They have taken a different approach on this and service different variety from plain to spicy and with different veggies and such. Highly recommend it."
