Reviews of Birria Los Primos
"Tacos are ok. I guess it all depends where you come from and what you are used to. Birria is very well prepared and tastes almost like in Mexico but very much served and spiced to the American palate. Consome could have been a bit warmer that day but maybe it was just the day. Same as the service: the guy was nos as polite as we, Mexicans, are used to. Or maybe that was it? Because we were Mexican we were treated like lower class customer? This is a recurrent thing to happen in mexican places, so I wouldn't be surprised. Overall I'd say it was ok, I'd recommend as something different but I would not come back."
"Discovered the Underground Hall, while exploring Houston Downtown. One of the vendors of this food court is Birria Los Primos. The menu is diverse and flavorful, offering a delightful culinary experience. Check out my photos for a sneak peek at their menu. Vibrant atmosphere."
"We appreciated the quantity of meat on their dishes. However, I felt that their birria could use more flavor. We ordered the quesobirria, birria tacos and loaded fries. I wasn't a fan of their mango margarita as it was too sour for my liking which they didn't offer to exchange after only one sip. We spent a total of $75 for the both of us. (With a 15% tip). The restaurant felt pretty plain, but the Spanish music made it better."
"it was a little hard to find, it’s inside of a place that has a lot of little restaurants. once inside my mom ordered the 3 taco plate with the dipping side. she liked the tacos. I just ordered 2 birria tacos, with a side of elote and fried plantains to share. the meat could have been juicier. as for the sides, the elote had too much water at the bottom and too much mayo. it was like a mayo smoothie with corn pieces. the fried plantain was good with the crema but that shouldn’t have been the star of the show. the drink I believe was 6 bucks, and 2 bucks for a refill. that was a little overkill on the price gauging. over all, it was a decent experience."
