"If you want Franklin's quality but do not have time to wait an hour for a table- get over here! The smoked barbecue method should be taught and mastered throughout the country. Every option is just so tender, succulent, and packed with flavor. I choose not to use any sauce when I find myself in Texas. There was no problem doing that here. I would say the 3 meat option is very fairly priced with two sides. It is pointless to single out one thing or another as being good. If you feel like some lean turkey- get the turkey, and it will be the best. If you want some brisket you will not be disappointed. Every side is like your mom made it for you with love, knowing it is your favorite. A little less known fact... those desserts at the end...are just as awesome! Take one for home after decompressing a bit for a great treat! Thank you, Stiles Switch."

"My coworkers and I stopped here today while we were picking some stuff up in Austin, and we were completely blown away. We got there a little before opening and waited outside, and there was already a crowd, which was a good sign. Ordering was fast, and the staff was very friendly. I couldn't believe the amount you get for the price here, and especially with such high quality. The food was fresh and delicious. I got the 2 meat plate with brisket, pimento cheese sausage, brussel sprouts, and slaw. The brisket was very tender and flavorful, and the burnt end piece was a pleasant surprise. Sausage was incredible, and the brussel sprouts were unlike any I've ever had. The sauce, seasoning, and hot peppers took it to a different level. Their mustard sauce was also absolutely delicious. I can't wait to hit this place again next time I'm in Austin, because I am definitely a lifelong fan now."

"This place is an Austin Barbecue must! Food was pretty decently priced and their sauce was awesome! More of a balsamic base instead of really sweet, but I was pleasantly surprised with how well it worked! We tried the pulled pork, and they made everything to order in front of you. We tried the coleslaw, mac and cheese, cucumber and tomato salad, and the potato salad. All of them were great but potato salad was the easy winner! Don’t forget to take home a dessert with you, the banana pudding hit the spot for a late night sweet treat!"

"One of Austin's finest, in my personal opinion. Off of Lamar Boulevard, this BBQ joint will not disappoint. Meat - I had brisket, original sausage, and some of my friend's chicken he didn't finish. Brisket had a nice smoky flavor. Bark seasoned well. Juicy throughout. Sausage is pretty firm and doesn't crumble like Smitty's or City Market in Luling which are great in their own way. Little bit of detail I liked was the fact the employees cut all the way through the sausage. Some places don't cut all the way through. I'm not picky, but just a small detail I noticed. Sides - Cheesy Tater Tot Casserole was amazing. Rich in flavor. Even texture throughout. Mac and cheese could have used some more seasoning. Seemed bland. Atmosphere - rustic look with plenty of things to look at on the walls. Yes, there are TVs. Service - well laid out when it comes getting into line and exiting the building. Some BBQ places are a bit more sporadic or less organized, if that makes sense. Friendly staff. They do a military discount."

"Oh my God! The food was absolutely amazing! The beef rib was my favorite. It literally melts in your mouth. The brisket is arguably the best in the city. We were a party of six and everyone loved everything that we had. Sides included."
