"Lonesome Dove Austin made our one day trip to Austin great. We showed up without a reservation, the waiters were nice and polite. Great atmosphere for date night. Food and cocktails were great. The menu was a little bit confusing but the waiter was right there to answer questions."

"A home run! Just loved the whole vibe and menu here which was both elevated and so distinctly Texan. It made for the perfect dinner for our one night in Austin. The service was both friendly and helpful with our server providing great recommendations for our first visit here. We started with a buck and pork belly charcuterie which was a nice starter. The rattlesnake rabbit sausage was outstanding - flavorful and and juicy, perfectly balanced by the crispy potatoes. For mains we had the elk and rabbit ravioli. Of the two, the elk was the star. Perfectly cooked with a wonderful rub, it was my favorite dish of the night. The rabbit was also very good, though we found the sauce a bit on the salty side. The ancho lava cake was the perfect finish - delicious. Overall, it was a wonderful evening!"

"This wild game restaurant was one of the best meals that I’ve ever experienced. I got elk, bison, rattlesnake and rabbit. All of it was phenomenal. It was also one of the most expensive dinners I’ve ever had but you have to try this place. I can’t wait to get back there."

"My Girlfriend took me here for my birthday this year. It was an incredibly pleasant experience. The food was superb, the atmosphere was lovely, and the staff were some of the nicest people you’d ever meet. Another highlight was the drinks, they were top notch and they have an old fashioned that is smoked, very good stuff. To top it all off, the staff was kind enough to serve a complimentary slice of chocolate cake with a nice card. I would highly recommend, even if it’s just stopping by for a drink."
