Reviews
"The reviews had me thinking I was going to get something authentic & amazing, but it was average good food. No hate, just wouldn’t go out my way to come here."
"The parking lot in front of the restaurant is small, but additional parking is available. The seating area is pleasant and adequate for the size of the business. They have a large selection of food and a full bar. The wait staff service was excellent, and wait time for food after ordering was almost non-existent. We ordered the food, and within the next 5 minutes, they started bringing out plate after plate of food once the were being maid. With 10 minutes, we had all of our food delivered to the table. The food itself was excellent, my wife loved the eggplant dish, and I loved the noodles. We were very surprised with this little hidden gem and will be going back."
"Cooking Girl is a culinary gem that has elevated my dining experience to new heights. The star of the show, the special fried rice and tofu dish, is a masterpiece of flavors and textures. The aromatic fried rice paired with perfectly prepared tofu creates a dish that's not just a meal but a symphony for the taste buds. While the prices at Cooking Girl may be on the higher side, the overall experience more than justifies it. The ambience exudes a modern charm, creating a welcoming environment that enhances the dining pleasure. The attentive customer service further adds to the overall positive atmosphere, making every visit a delightful occasion. Exploring their menu beyond the signature dish is a journey into culinary excellence. The red dumplings, in particular, are a revelation. Each bite bursts with savory goodness, showcasing the chef's dedication to crafting dishes that leave a lasting impression. In essence, Cooking Girl is more than a restaurant; it's a culinary adventure. The special fried rice and tofu dish is a must-try, and while the prices may be on the higher end, the exceptional ambience, top-notch customer service, and a menu featuring delights like the red dumplings make it a dining destination worth the investment. If you're seeking a place where every dish is a celebration of taste and quality, Cooking Girl is the answer."
"Food is delicious! Enjoyed every thing we ordered. Service was great. Parking is a little bit of a pain but it's worth it because you don't want to pass up eating here!"
"The food was on par with the other Cooking Girls and Pepper Twins locations. Started with the Red Dumplings and veggie egg rolls. The Red Dumplings were great, whereas the veggie egg rolls were average. Pro tip - spoon some of the excess sauce on to the dumplings or rice for additional flavor. For main dishes we had the WhataFish and the eggplant. The WhataFish was similar to the Pepper Twins fish but had a refreshing sourness and not nearly as spicy (and no numbing peppercorns). Additionally glass noodles are part of the soup dish. Overall, a very refreshing and tasty dish. The eggplant was perfectly cooked and bursting with flavors. It’s great by itself or over rice. While the food was incredible, the service was so so. On multiple occasions we had to ask and remind for our drinks to be refilled. At the end it was difficult to get the waiter’s attention, but a large party was also seated. Overall, great food and ambiance (tables weren’t crowded and one didn’t have to scream to be heard). I’d definitely come back and see if the service improves. Everyone has an off night."
