"China Dynasty has been my go-to restaurant for Chinese in South Austin. But not last night on Black Friday about 7 pm. Maybe that was the problem--too busy. I ordered through DoorDash and received my food in good time. Unfortunately, my Orange Chicken was thrown together hurriedly and not cooked fully. The sauce was uncharacteristically running and the snow peas I had added, numbered three (3). The woodear mushrooms I added were missing altogether. Such a disappointment, since I was really looking forward to it and had dished out $5 extra to get ingredients that weren't included. I'll be back, but not at a busy time."

"My mom ate here when she was pregnant with me 33 years ago, and I have been eating at this restaurant my whole life since. It’s a local, family run restaurant and belongs to one of the kindest, most humble, and welcoming families. Before the pandemic the restaurant was open for dining, and you’d see the family members on their lunch break eating the same food they serve - a testament to their food being authentic, fresh, and genuine quality. It really is one of the best Chinese restaurants in Austin and surrounding areas. I hope it continues to stand the test of time!"

"The food was delicious, with great servings. Our server was polite, attentive, and friendly. We had the Kung Pao Chicken, Sesame Chicken, Egg Drop Soup, Spicy Dumplings, Spring Rolls, and Egg Rolls... all so good!"
