"Came down with a small group of riders doing some trails around the area. Was riding through when we decided to stop for breakfast. Atmosphere- The people are amazing both workers and townsfolk. There’s a community table and I suggest any motorcyclists to choose that table. Talk with the locals and share stories with other riders. Service- Wonderful and attentive service, everyone was so very nice. Food- We got 3 sandwich’s and shared them so we got to try them all. The Spark, The Jalepeno Popper, and the Honey Butter- gotta get the spicy option for the honey butter *chefs kiss*. Each one was awesome in its own respect. Sure it took a *little* time to come out but it’s all fresh local ingredients and it’s all made fresh by the owner who does a phenomenal job. Buts it’s so very worth it. And the homemade piece of chocolate was the cherry on top of a perfect breakfast."
"I absolutely loved this place. Went on Sunday at 10am or so and there was no waiting line. The personnel was very friendly and attentive and the veggie scramble incredibly good. On top of this all, we got to enjoy live music and sing Happy birthday to Don! -HBD Don!- Thank you for the warm family atmosphere and the delicious food. PS: incredible chocolate and lovely store too"
"Went on a Sunday morning and the place was filled. The people of Bandera were welcoming and urged us to join the community table and feel part of the community. The live music was mellow and a good company for a slow Sunday breakfast. The food was served hot and fresh. Servers were friendly, warm, and welcoming. The food took a while to be served but it was all worth the wait. Thank you."
"Hands down best breakfast spot in town. Fresh, homemade from scratch and local farm ingredients is impossible to beat when you have a creative top notch cook, knowledgeable wait staff, and down to earth prices. David took care of us along with a new kid whose name I neglected to get but he is a quick study and provided a good helping hand. I tried the creole cheese grits, fully loaded and it was amazing! Also had to try a waffle which was homemade buttermilk old school style made me think I was back at my mommas. This place is the real deal, only shortcoming is they aren't open but a few days weekly. Don't miss them if they're open, they make Bandera a worthwhile stop or side trip traveling in this area."
"4 of us stopped in based on reviews on our way home. It was delicious!! We each had a different meal, and each was phenomenal. Everyone's favorite was Jalapeño popper sandwich."
