The Well Westlake

"We have only ever ordered delivery from Uber and EVERY SINGLE TIME they forget something. So we stopped ordering from the Westlake location (even though we live in Westlake) and now only order from 2nd Street. On Sunday we ordered from Uber again, but accidentally from Westlake, and they forgot both orders of bone broth, and the eggs on the chilaquiles were cooked over hard instead of over easy. To add insult to injury, Uber refuses to refund us for the bone broth because we have submitted too many requests for refunds for this restaurant. Hopefully they change their minds or we will dispute the charge with the bank. Very disappointed."

"We were initially going to go somewhere else for lunch but decided to go here in the hopes of getting something light and healthy. The Well did not disappoint. My friend and I each had a mocktail: the Pillow Talk and the non-alcoholic version of The Elixir. The Pillow Talk was so pretty and had great flavor. I don't usually say that about food/drinks with rose, but it's true. The Elixir was fantastic. I was surprised by the dark color, but the flavor was really fresh. We then split the Salmon Tartare and Steak Sandwich. The tartare was very very good. It reminded me of lox with the onion and caper but had a fun Texas twist with jicama and avocado. The chips on the side were perfect for the dish too. The steak sandwich was good too. My only wish was for more of the veggies (arugula and tomato) on the sandwich. We sat at the bar and chatted with a couple of the employees. They were both attentive, friendly, and helpful as we made our choices. Their service alone makes me want to come back for more. Check this place out for a healthy, tasty meal!"

"One of the best restaurants in Austin and you get more food portion size for the price then other organic and holistic restaurants in Austin. It being a seed oil free restaurant is a huge plus. Plus it’s better than picnik and more affordable. The servers are great and very nice. The owner is a very nice person to talk to. Highly recommend and their desserts are amazing."

"I am currently dealing with a couple of health issues and needed to find a place to eat that is highly health-conscious. My husband discovered this restaurant, and I am truly impressed by the quality of the ingredients. Initially, the prices seemed quite high in my opinion. However, after perusing their website and realizing that the ingredients are organic, and the meats are pasture-raised, it all made sense. Typically, I'm someone who appreciates a good deal, but because of the high-quality ingredients used in their food, I am willing to spend a little more here. This time, I tried the chicken salad sandwich, and it was truly indescribable. The flavor was out of this world. There are very few places I eat at where I don't need to ask for hot sauce because the flavor isn't where I need to be. This was the first place in a long time where I didn't need my hot sauce because the flavor was just perfect the way it was served. The decor is beautiful inside, but we did take out. This is my new favorite spot so I will be sure to post updates on the additional items I try."

"This is a newer opening of the WELL in Westlake off Bee Cave Rd near 360. The food is a specially curated menu of local, organic gluten free selections catering to health conscious individuals with gluten free diets and organic/sustainable dishes. The chicken salad sandwich is notably outstanding and the chilaquiles were filling and tasty. They have grab and go items as well and the drink/coffee menu is tops. The staff are attentive and the restaurant is thoughtfully chic and very clean. There is also outside dining available. This is a woman owned business and the 2nd location in Austin after the downtown 2nd St location. Ordering is done at counter first, making this an ideal location for groups wanting their own tabs. I gave the food 4 stars not based on quality (which is 5+), but rather taste, as far as “health” food goes- this is one of the best in Austin."
