"We were here on a Monday night right after New Years and it was obvious that college kids were returning to town and this is a normal hangout for lots of them. It's a neat little place just off the square. I had a simple cheeseburger and fries, but both were very tasty and served to us very hot. They have a great selection of beer and the young lady that served us was very pleasant and helpful, despite having to deal with a pretty large crowd and noisy conditions (College football on the TVs). I would definitely go back and have no problems recommending this place to my friends based on the food alone, but the great service makes it a slam dunk. Give it a go when you're in San Marcos."

"First we ordered gin and tonics. Extremely weak drinks, but we gave them the benefit of the doubt and ordered something else. Ordered a double tullamore whiskey on the rocks. EXTREMELY watered down. Pic was taken a couple minutes after it came to our table. Rip-off, this is blatant theft."

"Hoping management sees this and realize they set their staff up for failure. We were in town for gameday last week they only had 2 servers and 1 bartender working the lunch rush. After waiting an hour to order, our food took another hour and this was my “brisket grilled cheese”. We couldn’t pay our tab fast enough. Server was working hard but management didn’t help him at all."

"Honestly this place isn’t worth it. You could go somewhere better. Dry brisket, too much seasoning on the wings, dry fries, thick cut jalapeños- I mean I love food but this was one of my least favorite places to eat at. Definitely not recommending."

"I really enjoyed this place. The atmosphere is really interesting and the outdoor covered seating was a terrific place to eat an enjoy the street life. Moving onto the food, my quesadilla was absolutely outstanding. Definitely one of the best I’ve ever had as the meat and cheese inside was plentiful and the wrap was actually a little bit on the crunchy side. I will definitely return here again if given the chance."
