"I was driving down Westheimer Rd and noticed the Fry Guy waving me in. I pull into the parking lot and proceeded in. I was welcomed in and was given a brief run down of the many options on the menu by the owner. He was patient and suggested different items. I ordered the texas cheesecake and a strawberry lemonade to go. I expected a small wait on the food because everything is cooked fresh and served hot. The owner was friendly and thoughtful. When I got home and open my cheese steak I was shocked by the portion of food. The cheese steak covered the entire box while laying on a bed of fries. Absolutely delicious. Highly recommend to try!"
"I love the concept but I think I expected just a little more razzle dazzle. Overall, it was decent and probably would’ve been better if it was hot. It was kinda a little over over salted for me. So, if I had to make a recommendation, I would highly suggest these points. If you salt the meat heavy, don’t salt the fries… at all. Needs a better BBQ sauce. It tasted like sweet baby rays. Not a cheat code. Now for the win… you can’t say it’s anything dealing with Texas and BBQ AND YOU MISS the whole big pat of butter and the huge spoon of sour cream to match is not good advertising. There should always be some chunks of brisket in chopped beef so it don’t look or taste like minced meat or it being super over chopped up. Use real graded cheddar cheese that feels and taste fresher than the stuff that “seemingly” tasted like it came right out the bag. Balance out the meat to fry ratio. Way too many fries and it just wasn’t enough meat. But then again, the meat was over seasoned this go around so maybe it was a plus for me. In closing, I was really shooting to grade this like a Texas Spud since it has the same concept but it missed really big this time. However, I will be back to try other things. This is just constructive feedback so by all means please give them a try for yourself. Now, keep in mind this was almost a $20 meal that could have easily gotten me full at Luby’s with a take home bag. Best Of Luck"
"Syn the owner was amazing, When we walked in we were greeted with warm and welcoming people. The food was amazing , and we didn’t have to wait that long for our food . I work at the local home depot near here and I can honestly say I will be coming back ! Thank you again Syn."
"I found them on Friday night and I went Saturday! Excited everyone's testimonials did it for me..I give fair tries. When I pulled up no one was in line I get to the window an immediately I smelled an unusual smell( not food related) OK I still place my order 1st no chicken wings OK, then I order the Philly cheese Hoagie.. By this time there's 3 orders he's fixing. Now the guy was very respectful however when I get my food not the right order. So before I leave I checks it and it's Philly Steak fries..I take it back only to be told there's no more steak meat. So honestly I'm a little upset Not WHAT I PAID FOR. Nor did I feel like the hassle of a refund to my card...I Reach out to the owner to discuss my experience to express my concern and also anther concern...He provided contact but when I called no pickup. The food was cool..Just expected a different experience."
"Pros: Food was hot, fries were fresh and crispy. Cons: The wings were chewy and not crispy also not seasoned just tossed in the sauce, the chili used on the the chili fries tasted funny and looked to be the canned bean chili and the brisket used on the bbq fries wasn't fresh. Overall would've liked to have had a better experience but to have paid over $50 for 3 items and only one was edible isn't worth for me to go back."
