"Had no idea this place was actually opened, I love moi moi so when I looked some up near me it popped up in the same area and I decided to pop in. The restaurant itself wasn’t very inviting, it was dark and empty I was a little hesitant to go inside but I did, the wait wasn’t long. I ordered moi moi, jollof with veggies(spinach) and beef. $12 for all of this, portions were nice and I LOVE that the beef was included in the rice most African restaurants make you buy separately. I was a little upset and semi disappointed that the moimoi was given to me cold out of a fridge up front, when I got home the rice looked a little disappointing as it was brown vs that beautiful red we tend to see, I warmed up the moimoi and dug in! So good!! Food was great! The beef did taste slightly different as others said but NOT sour, just like they use a different seasoning. I will definitely be going back next week."

"I am scorching hot that I paid $15.00 for spicy beef fufu that came out about 20 min later tasting like the beef was most definitely cooked last year! I am still picking beef out my teeth as I type. On top of it all there was nothing spicy about the dish after requesting very spicy. And the joloff rice was not giving. Everything was off. I was then ridiculed by the cashier stating since Im not African I dont know how fufu tastes. Never again. I definitely wanted to replace the dish but the two cashiers hassling me telling me I am wrong about tasting my food to determine if I was able to enjoy my $15.00 lunch will never see one red penny from me ever again! Like was I supposed to look at the dish and determine the taste? Prepare the dishes with fresh food this is ridiculous! I wanted to start the year off with FuFu but I refuse to force feed myself because your business wants money. Respect goes a long way and Im unaware of who craves stale old rock solid beef."
