"The pho broth was really flavorful. I could tell they boil the beef bones for a long time to achieve the max flavor. Noodles are different - they use the flat noodles. Plenty of meat in the pho too. Parking can get crowded since the lot is small, but shouldn’t be a problem. Service was also a bit slower than other pho places so just beware when they’re busy!"
"The best banh xeo in town!!! Banh xeo at Pho Con Bo tastes like my childhood banh xeo. I am so happy that I found this place. Highly recommend!!!"
"we're so glad they opened again. they closed their original Pho restaurant of the same name in Chinatown (on Bellaire)/ and now the location is bought out by another Vietnamese restaurant that specialize in different type of dishes specifically chicken. We drive all the way from the west to go up north to their new location because we missed their pho and banh xeo (Vietnamese crepes) this is such a great small local family owned business literally husband & wife team. great food and great service"
"Bánh xèo (Vietnamese crepe) is a must try here ! My husband and I were satisfied with what we ordered. The Crepe was huge, thin and very crispy, with the right portion of fillings as it is supposed to be. The fish sauce (nuoc mam) for the Crepe was made to the right taste for this specific dish, not many places have that right savory/sweet balance like this place. Most authentic Banh Xeo we’ve tried ( very similar to our childhood taste). Will come back for Banh Xeo every time we visit Houston. We also ordered a kid size Pho and it was also a good portion compared to its bowl size in my opinion. Pho was ok but we voted for Banh Xeo as our favorite."
"They relocated from Bellaire. We used to go there all the time for Banh Xeo (Vietnamese Crepe). It’s still our favorite dish."
